An applying method of a nail polish on a nail surface via an airbrush applicator, including the steps of: filling a predetermined amount of nail polish in a polish container of the airbrush applicator; actuating an air compressor of the airbrush applicator, which is powered by a rechargeable battery thereof, for generating pressurized air; controlling a flow of the pressurized air to mix with the nail polish so as to form an aerosol on the nail surface; and drying the nail polish on the nail surface to form a nail coating thereon.

The present invention relates to a device for the painting of nails, during the work of nail painting it is sought that paint covers homogeneously the surface of the nails. Often when performing such work, the professional manicurist must be very careful that the paint brush does not stain the skin around the nail as the work must reflect an aesthetic quality. a first left outer piece (1); a second right outer piece (2); a third outer piece (3); a watch strap spring bolt (4); a pair of springs, wherein said pair of springs comprises a first spring (5) and a second spring (6), wherein the first left outer piece (1) is joined to the second right outer piece (2) and both are joined to the third outer piece (3) by means of the watch strap bolt (4), the springs (5) (6) attach to the third outer piece (3) allowing the pieces (1) (2) to function as a clamp which pulls the nail paronychium to perform the manicure work.

An apparatus for applying a decal to a nail of a human includes a housing having a cartridge recess, a cartridge that includes a supply spool around which a tape is at least partially wound, the tape having at least one decal that is transferrable to a nail of a human digit, and a take-up spool that includes a tape grip that holds an end of the tape, wherein the cartridge is removably mountable in the cartridge recess, an actuator coupled to the housing and moveable between an unactuated position and an actuated position, a tape advancement arrangement and a decal actuation surface are provided. The tape advancement arrangement coupled to the actuator and arranged to rotate the take-up spool to extend the tape from the supply spool during movement of the actuator between the unactuated position and the actuated position.

A nail polish application system may include a nail polish applicator to apply a curable nail polish to a nail of a user. An energy source may emit energy to selectively cure the curable nail polish. A sensor may be provided to detect a boundary of the nail of the user. The energy source may be configured to direct the energy to (i) the detected boundary of the nail during a first curing stage or (ii) to an area within the detected boundary of the nail during the first curing stage, and to (iii) avoid directing the energy to an area outside the detected boundary of the nail during the first curing stage.

An apparatus, kit, and method for applying a decal to a nail of a human digit are provided. A base coat of base nail polish is applied to a nail. The base coat has a tacky surface when dry. A decal application product is pressed against the tacky surface of the base coat, and includes a substrate and at least one decal adhered thereto. The at least one decal and the substrate have a first adhesion coefficient therebetween. The at least one decal and the tacky surface have a second adhesion coefficient that is greater than the first adhesion coefficient to cause a subset of the at least one decal to adhere to the base coat. A top coat of a top nail polish is applied atop of the base coat and the subset of the at least one decal to seal the subset of the at least one decal and the base coat.

A nail printer is provided. The nail printer includes a discharger, an irradiator, and an irradiation intensity variator. The discharger is configured to discharge an active energy ray curable composition to a nail by an inkjet method. The irradiator is configured to irradiate the nail with an active energy ray. The irradiation intensity variator is configured to vary an irradiation intensity of the active energy ray radiated from the irradiator.

A method of applying a curable formulation to an object includes positioning an amount of formulation on a surface before curing the formulation, the formulation being curable by an electromagnetic energy. While the amount of formulation remains on the surface, a first amount of the electromagnetic energy may be directed to the formulation to cure a first area of the uncured formulation, while leaving a second area of the formulation uncured. Force may be applied to press the surface onto the object to transfer the second area of uncured formulation to the object. Some or all of the first area of cured formulation may remain on the surface as the second area of uncured formulation is transferred to the object. The formulation may be a nail polish formulation, and the object may be a fingernail of a user.

A protective covering for skin can include a UV protective member having main body portion and at least one elongated appendage shaped portion extending from the main body portion, and an adhesive layer disposed on the UV protective layer. The adhesive layer can be configured to adhere to human skin.

A device for applying a French manicure to a person's hand includes a graspable body portion that a user may hold with one hand while applying polish to a fingernail of the other hand. An extension member extends from the body portion in a proximal direction, toward a fingernail. An applicator member extends from the upper portion of the body portion in a proximal direction such that a gap is provided between the extension member and the applicator member. When a user wants to paint a particular fingernail in the French manicure style, she places her nail in the gap with her fingertip abutting an end portion of the extension member. With the applicator member supplied with fingernail polish, the user may move her finger from side to side so that the applicator member paints the portion of the nail extending into the gap in the French manicure style.
