There is provided a device for securing a compact portable device to an external arrangement and the device includes a base attachable to the external arrangement, a panel, an attachment for securing the compact portable device to the panel, and a movement element movably connecting the panel to the base in a manner such that the panel can selectively be oriented in one orientation to support the compact portable device in generally facing relationship to the base generally and in another orientation in which the compact portable device is not in generally facing relationship to the base.

A clip for mounting devices on a hat brim includes a first and second panel. The panels are each resiliently connected to a nose portion and separated by a spacing that tapers to a contact point from the distal portions of the panels to their proximal portions. The second panel has a wedge-shaped portion in which the width of the panel increases from its distal end to its proximal end. The bottom surface of the first panel is concave, the preferable concavity being close to that of the curvature of a hat brim. The top surface of the second panel is convex. The preferable convexity is close to that of the curvature of the brim. The top surface of the second panel includes a channel adapted to receive the fabric border of the undersurface of a hat brim. The top surface of the first panel includes at its proximal end structure adapted to receive an accessory device.
Assistive Holder
A tool for securing an object, such as a cell phone, to a body part, such as a wrist, of a user. The assistive holder includes a strap having a sleeve and a channel located along the strap, wherein an external clip fastener can be positioned in either the sleeve or the channel. Fasteners on either end of the strap can be attached to one another, thereby forming a loop that can encircle a wrist. In operation, the user attaches an object to an upper surface of the external clip fastener, and then removably secures the object and external clip fastener to the sleeve or channel, per the user's desired orientation of the object.
