In the exemplified embodiment, the cleaning elements have a plurality of bristle tufts each including a plurality of bristle filaments. In one aspect, the oral care implement may include a first bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the outer filaments being taller than the inner filaments and a second bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the outer filaments being shorter than the inner filaments. The first bristle tufts may be arranged on the head in a position so as to surround the second bristle tufts, or the second bristle tufts may be arranged on the head in a position so as to surround the first bristle tufts. Distal ends of the first and second bristle tufts may be angled.
Brush tip for cosmetic applicator, method for manufacturing same and cosmetic applicator using same
A brush tip for a cosmetic applicator which is hygienic by preventing the growth of bacteria and other germs in the area of the brush tip not impregnated with the application fluid, as well as the manufacturing method of the brush tip and a cosmetic applicator using the brush tip. This brush tip for a cosmetic applicator includes brush tip filaments and serving as an applying part of the cosmetic applicator having a cosmetic storage for storing a cosmetic fluid, with the rear end of the brush tip attached to the front end of the cosmetic storage. The brush tip incorporates a discharge port that communicates with the cosmetic storage of the cosmetic applicator, and a coating of an antimicrobial agent is formed on the surface of the brush tip filaments, located behind the discharge port inside the brush tip.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement having a head with a plurality of cleaning elements coupled thereto and extending therefrom. In another aspect, the oral care implement may include a bristle tuft having inner and outer filaments with the inner filaments being either taller or shorter than the outer filaments, and whereby distal ends of the inner and outer filaments are angled relative to an axis of the bristle tuft.
METHOD OF MAKING A BRUSH AND BRUSH
A method of making a brush includes providing a plurality of first filaments, each having a first end and a second end; bringing the plurality of first filaments into a first predetermined shape such that the first ends are arranged side by side on a common contour; fixedly connecting the first ends so that a first pre-tuft having the first predetermined shape and a connected first end is formed; bringing a second tuft element having a first end and a second end together with the first pre-tuft into a second predetermined shape such that the first end of the second tuft element and the connected first end of the first pre-tuft are arranged side by side on a common contour; fixedly connecting the connected first end of the first pre-tuft and the first end of the at least second tuft element so that a final tuft having the second predetermined shape and a connected end is formed; and attaching the final tuft to a brush body by overmolding the final tuft's connected end with a plastic material.
Brush Head With Recessed Bristles, Brush, Method of Making and Method of Using Same
The present invention recognizes that there exists a long felt need for brush heads and brushes having material application and buffing properties. A first aspect of the present invention is a brush head. A second aspect of the present invention is a brush including a brush head of the present invention. A third aspect of the present invention is a method of making a brush head of the present invention. A fourth aspect of the present invention is a method of making a brush of the present invention. A fifth aspect of the present invention is a method of using a brush head of the present invention. A sixth aspect of the present invention is a method of using a brush of the present invention. An additional aspect is a brush head having an outer zone of bristles and a convex inner zone of bristles.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement having an arrangement of different types of cleaning elements. Specifically, in one embodiment the oral care implement includes a head and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements. The tooth cleaning elements include a plurahty of inclined bristle tufts that are circumferentially arranged about a reference ring. The inclined bristle tufts extend from the head so as to converge towards a reference axis with increasing distance from the head. The tooth cleaning elements also include an elastomerice member extending from the head within the reference ring. The elastomeric member may be conical in shape and have an inclined outer surface. In some embodiments the elastomeric member may include two components that are separated by a gap, and a central cleaning element may be located within the gap.
Oral care implement and method of forming an oral care implement
A method of forming an oral care implement. The method may include providing a body having a base and a bridge extending from a distal end of the base, the bridge terminating in a free end, mounting a plurality of tooth cleaning elements to the bridge, bending the bridge toward a proximal end of the base, and coupling the free end of the bridge to a proximal end of the base, thereby forming a head of an oral care implement.
Hair brush
The present invention is concerned with a hair brush. The hair brush has an elongate profile defining a first longitudinal axis, and has a handle portion in the form of a stick sharing the first longitudinal axis and provided with a proximal end and an distal end, and the hair brush further has a utility portion extending from the distal end of the handle portion for engaging the hair and the scalp of a user during use. The utility portion has a first floating finger and a second floating finger forking off from the distal end of the handle portion and arranged at opposite lateral ends of thereof, and at least one third floating finger arranged between the first and second floating fingers. At least one or both the first and second floating fingers are free of brushing members.
Method of making a brush and brush
