COUNTERTOP INSTALLATION
Aspects of the present invention provide devices and methods for installation of countertops. A countertop installation device may include: a housing; a rim, extending outwards from the housing, the rim being connectable to a frame; a movable tongue arranged to move along a first axis of the shaft, and extend from the housing; and an adjustment screw configured to adjust the location of the movable tongue along a second axis. During installation of the device, the first axis may be the horizontal axis and the second axis may be the vertical axis.
Telescoping countertop support bracket assembly
A telescoping countertop support bracket assembly includes a channel member that defines a plurality of through holes through a lateral wall of the channel member. Each of the through holes is configured to receive a fastener; the channel member defines a support bar receiving portion and an accessory bar receiving portion. A support bar is received by the channel member, and it is telescopically adjustable within the channel member. A countertop contact surface is supported by the support bar, and the fasteners secure the support bar within the channel member at an adjustable support length.
WORKTOP FOR PIECES OF FURNITURE AND METHOD FOR JOINING SLABS SO AS TO OBTAIN SAID WORKTOP
A worktop (1) for pieces of furniture includes two slabs (3, 4) made of stone, arranged so that they are adjacent to each other at the level of corresponding head surfaces (5, 6) in order to define a work surface (2) exposed to the outside. A joining arrangement is suited to stably connect the slabs (3, 4) and includes a first bonding substance (8) interposed between the head surfaces (5, 6) and recesses (9) obtained on the head surfaces (5, 6) of each slab (3, 4), mutually facing each other and configured in such a way as to define corresponding housings completely delimited in the direction of the thickness of the slabs (3, 4), the first bonding substance (8) being spread mainly in the housings.
MODULAR COUNTERTOP SYSTEM
This invention relates generally to a modular countertop system. In one embodiment, a countertop system includes, but is not limited to, a first countertop section composed of a foam core at least partly covered by a laminate layer; a plurality of interconnection receptacles embedded within the foam core; and a plurality of cut-line indications on a bottom surface of the first countertop section at positions that correspond to the plurality of interconnection receptacles embedded within the foam core, wherein cutting of the first countertop section along any of the plurality of cut-line indications exposes at least one of the plurality of interconnection receptacles.
GLASS-CERAMIC ARTICLE
An item, in particular for domestic and/or furniture use, in particular a countertop or furniture unit, includes a carcass on which a glass-ceramic assembly is arranged, the glass-ceramic assembly including a glass-ceramic plate and an electronic module including at least one heating element, the carcass including a support surface on which the glass-ceramic plate is placed and fastened and a housing in which the heating element is arranged, wherein the glass-ceramic plate bears a fastening system for reversibly fastening it to the carcass.
Countertop installation
A method for countertop installation includes affixing a mechanical interface to at least one of a cabinet framework and a wall, and securing a countertop directly to the mechanical interface without directly attaching the countertop to the cabinet framework or the wall.
Snap lock system, method and use for connecting construction elements
A snap lock system for connecting adjoining countertops comprises: a first locking unit comprising a first surface and an opposite second surface, the second surface being attachable to a first countertop, wherein the second surface has a profile comprising a projection, a first recess, and a second recess; a second locking unit comprising a first surface and an opposite second surface, the second surface being attachable to a second countertop, wherein the first surface has a profile comprising a projection and a recess; the second surface comprises a recess; and a third locking unit comprising a resilient member and a chamfered longitudinal edge, accommodated in a locking groove defined by the second recess of the first locking unit and the recess of the second locking unit. The profile of the second surface of the first locking unit is configured to receive the profile of the first surface of the second locking unit to provide a connection preventing mutual horizontal movement between the first and second locking units. During connection of the first locking unit and the second locking unit, the third locking unit is configured to allow vertical mating of the first locking unit and the second locking unit and, after connection, the third locking unit is configured to prevent mutual vertical movement between the first locking unit and the second locking unit.
