Magnet, pin, and spring assisted lockable horizontally and vertically aligning ergonomic novel latch mechanisms
11497313 · 2022-11-15 ·

A number of magnetically assisted latch mechanisms are presented, where the latching and unlatching action is done with reduced user effort, therefore promoting speed and efficiency without sacrificing the strength of the bond of the connected components. The latching mechanisms are designed to secure panels or other similar small and large mostly flat components. The latching method is done by a rotating component that takes all the separating load once rotated into the locked position. The rotatable lock, or hammer, is also locked itself into position to prevent accidental movement by the hammer.

Modular enclosure system

A modular enclosure system includes a plurality of anchor rails configured to be mounted to a surface such as a wall to which the modular enclosure system is to be attached. The modular enclosure system includes a first partition having a plurality of partition segments and a second partition having a plurality of partition segments. The first partition and the second partition are each coupled to a first rail and a second rail of the plurality of anchor rails.

Coupling system and construction including same

A present application is directed to a shelving system having a coupling system comprising a tab coupler and a socket coupler, said tab coupler comprising a locking tab extending from a locking face along a locking axis and configured with a round, T-like sectioned shape; said socket coupler comprising a U-shaped locking socket projecting from a mounting face of the socket coupler along a coupler axis and configured with a U-shaped tab arresting groove; the coupling system is configurable between an unlocked position whereat the locking socket slidingly receives the locking tab so that the locking axis and the coupler axis coincide, and a locked position upon rotating one of the tab coupler and the socket coupler about the coinciding axes, entailing snugly arresting of the locking tab by the locking socket, preventing sliding displacement and axial displacement along the coinciding axes.

APPARATUS FOR LINKING ARTICLES OF FURNITURE

A linking assembly is provided for linking two articles of furniture that includes a support member and a latch member that are pivotably connected by a lever member. The support member includes a hook portion configured to engage a link engagement opening in a beam of one of the articles of furniture. The latch member also includes a hook portion configured to engage the link engagement opening of the other beam. The lever member is pivotably connected to the support and latch members, and is configured in an open configuration so that the hook portions of the support and latch members are separated by a distance that is greater than the combined width of the two beams being connected. The lever member is further configured to draw the support and latch members together as the lever member is pivoted, so that wings of the support and latch members clamp against the two beams.

Desk System

A desk system including desktop, legs, and foot elements is presented. Each leg is rotatably attached at one end to the desktop and attached at another end to one foot element which is also rotatable. The system is disposed in a stowed configuration when legs and foot elements are substantially parallel to the desktop and legs are disposed between and substantially parallel to foot elements. The system is disposed in an upright configuration when legs are substantially perpendicular to the desktop and each leg is substantially perpendicular to one foot element. The system is configured from stowed to upright by separately rotating legs about a minor axis in opposite directions away from one another and by separately rotating foot elements about a major axis in opposite directions toward one another. The system is configured from upright to stowed by separately rotating foot elements about the major axis in opposite directions away from one another and by separately rotating legs about the minor axis in opposite directions toward one another.

QUICK ASSEMBLY FURNITURE

A kit is provided that, when assembled, forms a unit of furniture. The kit includes side panels that can rotate about the z axis along the hinge and which have one or more support surfaces to support a base panel. A top panel is connected to the side panels and back panel by a plurality of position members. The kit comprises a plurality of flexible fasteners to reverse-ably lock the side panels to the base panel and to lock the side panels to the top panel and restrict the side panels from z-axis rotation and restrict the base panel and top panel from y-axis rotation. Also provided are methods of assembling and manufacturing the unit of furniture.
