Supinely reading stand
A supinely reading stand which barely blocks the text of the book, barely interferes with the sight of the eyes, and is more simply constructed, easy in assembly and lower-cost. The supinely reading stand comprises a book-supporting structure. The book-supporting structure comprises a four-sided frame and at least one tension-resistant thin line distributed in the inner area of the four-sided frame. The four-sided frame includes first opposite sides and second opposite sides. The tension-resistant thin line(s) is/are connected to the first opposite sides of the four-sided frame in tension state.
DEVICE FOR HOLDING PORTABLE ELECTRONICS
The present disclosure provides a device for holding portable electronics. The device may include a base, a plurality of legs rotatably connected to the base, and a platform rotatably connected to the base via at least one first hinge. The platform may be configured to receive an electronic device and to pivot about the at least one first hinge between a level position and an inclined position. The device of the present disclosure may further include a retractable grip connected to the platform and configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position outside of the platform. In the extended position, at least one contact of the retractable grip may be configured to provide a bias force to an upper surface of the electronic device, such that at least a portion of the electronic device is disposed between the platform and the at least one contact.
Overhead support for viewing media
An overhead support includes a transparent structure to support a visual medium for display to a supine viewer. The support is suspended from a ceiling over a location where the viewer wishes to recline. The support includes a positioning mechanism for easily adjusting the height of the visual medium above the viewer. In an embodiment, the positioning mechanism has a lock for fixing the height. In another embodiment, the support includes a light source. In another embodiment, the support includes an optical prescription.
Media Article Support Device
A media article support device for use by a user positioned in a bed includes a first rod, a coupler, and a clamping unit. The coupler is engaged to a first end of the first rod and can engage a bedrail of a bed or a surface above the bed. The clamping unit is engaged to a second end of the first rod and can selectively engage a media article, such as a book, electronic device, and the like. The coupler engages the bedrail of the bed or the surface above the bed so that the clamping unit is positionable proximate to a head of a user lying or sitting in the bed. The media article engaged to the clamping unit is positioned to be viewed by the user.
