A modular product display system has at least two vertically stacked layers. Each layer has at least one roller track supported on one longitudinal end by a rail such that the one longitudinal end is at a different elevation than the other longitudinal end. At least two vertical stacking side barriers are disposed at laterally spaced apart positions between the roller track in each of the vertically stacked layers. The vertical stacking side barriers have protrusions on an upper edge and a lower edge engageable with corresponding openings in the roller track. Either (i) the protrusions on at least one of the upper edge and the lower edge are displaced from a plane of the vertical stacked side barrier, or (ii) the vertical stacked side barriers between the at least two vertically stacked layers are laterally displaced from vertical stacked side barriers between further vertically stacked layers.

A spliced storage box and a splicing structure between adjacent side panels of the spliced storage box are provided. The splicing structure comprises two side panels, a post, and a pressing strip. A side of the post comprises a notch, each corner of two sides of the notch comprises a first positioning edge and a second positioning edge intersecting the first positioning edge. Side edges, which are adjacent to each other, of the two side panels each bend and define a first abutting edge and a second abutting edge. The first abutting edge is disposed at an outer end of a respective one of the two side panels, and the first abutting edge and the second abutting edge respectively abut the first positioning edge and the second positioning edge. The pressing strip is connected to the post and is pressed to the first abutting edges of the two side panels.

A connector for connecting discrete modular storage units defined by plural hollow elongate support members having longitudinal ends including apertures into which vertical connection members can be inserted to connect adjacent modules. The inserts may be of a predetermined length to connect two horizontally adjacent modules or a length twice the predetermined length to connect two horizontally adjacent modules. For vertically and horizontally connected modules, the inventive connector may be utilized to connect modular shelving units having both an in-line and perpendicular configuration. The connector ideally comprises two identical insert members joined to each other in a desired orientation, so that the modules can be connected in different configurations, whether in-line, staggered or perpendicularly. The inventive connector also vertically connects the horizontally configured shelving modules to a variety of vertically disposed and configured shelving module units in a desired configuration. The connectors can be used to provide for an end connection at a top or bottom of the configuration in a dual insert connector, enabling a tab member to engage onto and retain an adjacent hollow tubular member or, in a single insert embodiment, to provide for insertion of a caster for resting on a floor.
