Linear actuator, actuator system, piece of furniture and method for controlling a linear actuator
A linear actuator for adjusting a piece of furniture comprises a motor having a motor shaft, a conversion arrangement coupled to the motor shaft and adapted to convert a rotational movement generated by the motor shaft into an elongation of the linear actuator, and a locking arrangement coupled directly or indirectly to the motor shaft and adapted to selectively cause rotation locking of the motor shaft by means of a locking element. The locking arrangement comprises an inner part with at least one inner chamber and an outer part radially surrounding the inner part and having at least one outer chamber. The outer part and the inner part are rotatable relative to each other in such a way that the at least one inner chamber and the at least one outer chamber can be aligned with each other. The rotation locking is activated by clamping the locking element between the at least one inner chamber and the at least one outer chamber by means of rotation of the inner part and the outer part relative to each other.

RECLINER MECHANISM FOR ELECTRIC ROCKING CHAIR
A recliner mechanism includes a base. Returning spring units are disposed on two sides of the base and rockers are disposed on outer sides of the returning spring units. An extending assembly is disposed at the top of each rocker. A drive unit is arranged between the extending assemblies on the two sides and includes a front driving rod. A reciprocating device is disposed at the middle of the front driving rod and a rear driving rod is disposed at an output end of the reciprocating device. Bent members are fixedly connected to two ends of the rear driving rod. Each bent member is pivotally coupled with a driving member I and the middle of the driving member I is pivotally coupled with a driving member II, with the other ends of the driving member I and the driving member II being pivotally coupled with the extending assemblies.

PIVOTING FITTING, PIECE OF FURNITURE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
A pivoting fitting is formed with first pivoting lever that is movable about an axis of rotation in relation to a second pivoting lever, and a blocking device is provided to block a rotational motion of the first pivoting lever in relation to the second pivoting lever in a first direction of rotation and to enable rotational motion in an opposite second direction of rotation in a blocking position. In addition, a switching element enables infinitely variable adjustment of the blocking position to deactivate the blocking device for an adjusting process of the first pivoting lever relative to the second pivoting lever in the first direction of rotation.

Furniture Member With Wall-Proximity Mechanism
A furniture member may include a base frame, a seat assembly, a drive rod, a legrest mechanism, and a wall-proximity mechanism. The seat assembly is supported by the base frame and includes a seat frame, a seat bottom, a seatback and a legrest. The legrest is movable relative to the base frame and seat frame between a retracted position and an extended position. The seatback is movable relative to the base frame and seat frame between an upright position and a reclined position. The drive rod is rotatably mounted to the seat frame. The legrest mechanism is attached to the legrest and the seat frame and is driven by the drive rod. The wall-proximity mechanism is connected to the base frame and to the seat assembly and tilts the seat frame rearward relative to the base frame and translates the seat frame forward relative to the base frame.
Seat for vehicles
A seat for vehicles includes: a seat back frame; and a pressure receiving member that is mounted on the seat back frame to support a back of an occupant. The seat back frame includes a lower seat back frame and an upper seat back frame mounted on an upper portion of the lower seat back frame in a forwardly and rearwardly swingable manner, and the pressure receiving member is disposed from an area corresponding to the shoulder of an occupant to an area corresponding to the waist of the occupant and is supported by the upper seat back frame.
