Compact adjustable reclining mechanism for a theater seating unit with planar back drop
A compact recliner mechanism for use in theater seating units is provided that allows the seat to move linearly as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. The mechanism has a back bracket coupled to the seat plate and base plate with a linkage that moves a projected point representing the top of the back of the seating unit downwardly in vertical plane as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. In other aspects, the seating unit has an armrest linkage coupled between the seat plate and the back that maintains an armrest lever at a horizontal orientation. Additionally, in some aspects, the base plate of the seating unit may have an adjustment feature that limits recline of the seating unit, to accommodate theater seating with different riser dimensions, and/or legs with an adjustment feature to level the seating unit on existing theater floors.
ADJUSTABLE ROTARY ROCKING CHAIR
An adjustable rotary rocking chair having a chair frame assembly A, an adjustment mechanism B, and a support tube assembly C, wherein the adjustment mechanism B is detachably connected with the chair frame assembly A and is connected with the support tube assembly C in an insertion manner. The adjustable rotary rocking chair can swing and rotate, has higher flexibility and adaptability due to the fact that the height of the rocking chair and the height of the support tubes can be automatically adjusted by users, is portable through a folding design, and can be used indoors and outdoors.
Tilt-swivel mechanism chair
A tilt-swivel chair employing a bearing base assembly in communication with connection plate or seat plate of the chair is provided. The tilting mechanism in forward and backward direction is provided by the spring which has a pushing and pulling action and the swiveling action is done along the side axis of the bearing base assembly, and the side axis is a cylindrical shape section with a bushing cap onto which a lever base is equipped and is connected to the connection plate or seat plate. The balance ball feeling is provided with the spring action. A cam and lever mechanism is provided at the base of the side axis in corporation with the base section of the assembly. The cam and lever mechanism provides a smooth swiveling action to the seat and to lock and shut down and take a break.
Cable connector for a chair function controller and operator
Disclosed herein is a chair of the kind that is shipped to a user disassembled. The chair includes at least one chair function controller (i.e., a paddle) that is actuated to control a chair function operator (e.g., a gas cylinder located below and coupled to the chair seat). During assembly, a pair of cable sections are mechanically and serially connected to one another at a force responsive connector block that is located within and slidable through a cable connector housing at the bottom of the chair seat. By virtue of connecting the first and second cables together at the connector block, the chair function controller paddle is connected to the chair function operator so that an actuation of the controller causes a pulling force to be applied to the chair function operator to enable the seat or back of the chair to be displaced.

Seat back recliner
A seat back recliner is revealed. A seat back is pivotally connected to and positioned on a rear end of a seat part of a chair while a cylinder is disposed between the seat part and the seat back. A reclined angle of the seat back is adjustable under control of the cylinder. Thereby a user sitting on the chair can directly adjust the seat back to the reclined angle required. The reclined seat back allows a user to lie back and have the greatest level of comfort and relaxation while sitting on the chair.
