An armrest device for adjusting an inclination angle of a backrest. The armrest device includes a side connecting bracket and an armrest. A lower end of the side connecting bracket is fixedly connected with a seat cushion. Right ends of the side connecting bracket and the armrest are rotatably connected with the backrest. An upper end of the side connecting bracket is fixedly connected with a positioning seat. An upper end of the positioning seat extends to an inner cavity of the armrest. The positioning seat shifts the inclination angle of the backrest and limits a position of the backrest through a positioning mechanism. A first spring limiting a movement of the armrest in an X direction and a second spring limiting a movement of the armrest in a Z direction are disposed between the positioning seat and the armrest.

A portable chair may include a first front leg and a second front leg connected by a front sled and a first back leg and a second back leg connected by a back sled. The first front leg and the first back leg may be pivotally connected to a sliding pivot on an armrest, where the sliding pivot moves relative to the armrest to adjust the chair from an upright position to a reclined position. The seat assembly may include a fabric member that is attached secured to a seat frame by a plurality of fabric retention members. The coupling portion includes a receiving portion having a receiving hole with a catching portion. The positioning tube is received in the receiving hole. When the positioning tube is rotated relative to the rod to a first position in which a positioning portion of the positioning tube disengages from the catching portion, the sliding seat is movable along the positioning tube. When the positioning tube is rotated relative to the rod to a second position in which the positioning portion engages with the catching portion, the sliding seat is fixed relative to the positioning tube.
