A convertible couch, twin bed, and queen bed includes a U-shaped section having a first arm, a second arm, and a back section; a first end section; a second end section; and first, second and third mattress sections; the first mattress section is rotatably joined to the second mattress section, which is rotatably joined to the third mattress section, which has a first bottom edge and an opposing second bottom edge; the first mattress section has an internal first edge and an opposing internal section edge; the internal first edge has a second portion of the first zipper, and the internal second edge has a second portion of the second zipper; the first zipper releasably joins the first end section and the first mattress section, and the second zipper releasably joins the second end section and the first mattress section.

A seat base is movable up and down at an angle via a sliding mechanism.

A seat base is movable up and down at an angle via a sliding mechanism.

Convertible furniture includes a first arm, a first seat, and a base. The first seat is adjacent the first arm and includes a head panel, a mid-panel, and a foot panel. The first seat has a seat configuration in which the head panel is in a vertical orientation. The first seat has a bed configuration in which the head panel, the mid-panel, and the foot panel are each in a horizontal orientation with a top surface of each cooperating to form a flat surface. The base has a side rail that is secured to the first arm and a center support parallel to and spaced apart from the first arm. The head panel of the first seat at least partially supported by the side rail and the center support in the deployed position thereof when the first seat is in the bed configuration.

An assembly for transforming a piece of furniture from a sitting position to a lying position according to the invention, having two mechanisms placed in the furniture box, and a motor acting through intermediate elements on the sliding seat of the furniture, and each of the mechanisms has a lift, which is made of a fastening slat fastened to a fixed element of furniture, the rear arm articulated at the lower end with the fastening slat and the upper end with the angle slat, and the front arm articulated at the bottom end with the fastening slat and the upper end with the angle slat, the angle slat of each lift having holes for fastening the seat. The assembly allows for obtaining an intermediate position during the transformation of the furniture.

A furniture may include a frame structure (4) and a seat cushion arrangement (6). The frame structure (4) may include an elongated platform (8), wherein the platform (8) and the seat cushion arrangement (6) are adapted so that the seat cushion arrangement may be supported by the platform in a first operative state in which at least a substantial portion of an elongated upper surface of the seat cushion arrangement adjacent a first longitudinally extending lateral end of the elongated platform is inclined in relation to a horizontal plane (HP) towards the first longitudinally extending lateral end of the elongated platform for establishing an elongated sitting area for a plurality of users. Further, the seat cushion arrangement (6) is adapted to be supported by the platform (8) in a second operative state in which a substantial portion (16) of an upper surface of the seat cushion arrangement (6) is in parallel with the horizontal plane for establishing an elongated lying area for at least one user, wherein the lying area has a direction between a head end and a foot end in parallel with a longitudinal direction (18) of the platform.
