A foldable bed frame comprising two symmetrically arranged unit bed frames is provided. The two unit bed frames are hinged to each other at their connection. A unit bed frame is further provided with a first plurality of support legs in hinge connection with the unit bed frame. The direction in which the plurality of first support legs fold is perpendicular to the direction in which the unit bed frame folds. Both the folding and unfolding of the foldable bed frame are very simple and convenient, and the volume after folding is small, which facilitates storage and transport.

A portable bed system comprising a foldable light tubular frame, a foldable shock absorbing molded hollow polymer body containing apposing edges, a foldable squishy foam mattress; when in a folded configuration for stowing, the bed reduces in size, resists shock and the opposing edges seal preventing liquid, insects or dust from entering through its body into the mattress thus overcoming other temporary portable bed size, durability and hygiene limitations.

In another aspect of this invention, the frame of insect resistant net is made of a plurality of generally rectangular shaped members and a plurality of connecting members, wherein each end of the plurality of rectangular shaped members are positioned in one of the plurality of connecting members. In the extended position at least two of the plurality of generally rectangular members are substantially parallel to the plurality of connecting members forming a base to receive the bedding and to retain a net; and at least two of the plurality of rectangular members of the plurality of rectangular members form a dome to define a space above the bedding and to retain the insect non-permeable net.

A mobile bed apparatus suitable for travel, camping, or any other suitable activity is presented. The mobile bed apparatus contains a housing, a mattress, at least one wheel, and at least one handle. The housing contains a first half, a second half, and a bed receiver. The first half and the second half are hingedly connected to each other through at least one hinge fastener. The bed receiver is positioned within the housing. The bed receiver traverses from the first half and the second half, where the first half, wherein the second half is configured to form the bed receiver in a deployed configuration. The mattress is connected along the bed receiver, where the mattress is configured to fold along the bed receiver in a retracted configuration. The at least one wheel is distributed about the housing. The at least one handle is distributed about the housing.
