ADAPTIVELY ADJUSTABLE MATTRESS

An adjustable mattress is described herein. The adjustable mattress is comprised of one or more adjustable elements. The adjustable elements may, in some examples, be filled with air or other fluid in order to adjust the height and firmness of the adjustable mattress. The adjustable mattress may provide a user with assistance in rolling over or repositioning while using the adjustable mattress.

A proning headrest includes a horizontal board; cylindrical support posts distributed on the board; two removably juxtaposed support pads resting on the support posts; and a face pad positioned parallel to and between low-profile pillows. Recessed portions on the perimeter of the support pads form a face cutout between. Next to the recessed portion of each support pad, one surface has a low-profile pillow attached. The face pad has a convoluted air bladder and a hole aligned with the face cutout. The proning headrest keeps the patient's spine in a neutral position, keeps the endotracheal tube/tracheostomy aligned, and keeps the ventilatory circuit intact while staff rotate the patient into a prone position.

Inflation product with built-in air pump

The present disclosure provides an inflation product with a built-in air pump, including an air pump (1), a connection piece (2) and an inflation product (15). The inflation product (15) includes a through hole (151) penetrating from inside to outside, the connection piece (2) is fixed at an opening of the through hole (151), the air pump (1) and the connection piece (2) are detachably connected, and the through hole (151) is provided for the air pump (1) to protrude into with a front end of the air pump (1) exposed outside the through hole (151). The front end of the air pump (1) includes an air inlet (3) in which a normally-closed switch is mounted, and an air inlet sealing cover (5) for driving the normally-closed switch (4) to be pressed down is covered on the air inlet (3).

MULTI-AIR CHAMBER MATTRESS WITH LOCALIZED SUPPORT
20230027288 · 2023-01-26 ·

Described herein are mattresses with localized air chamber support. A mattress can include a first air chamber positioned at a shoulder region, a second air chamber positioned at a hip region and fluidly connected to the first air chamber, and a foam insert positioned between the air chambers. The air chambers can share a common internal pressure. Decreasing the common internal pressure in the air chambers can cause the foam insert to increase support at a lumbar region of the mattress. Additional foam inserts can be positioned between at least one of the first air chamber and a head end of the mattress, the first and second air chambers, and the second air chamber and a foot end of the mattress. The mattress can also include a foam rail structure that extends around a perimeter of the mattress to surround the components therein.

Fluid source for supplying fluid to therapy devices

A fluid source comprises a connector assembly for connecting a fluid supply device to either a first therapy device or to a second therapy device. A controller automatically provides a first configuration of a user interface associated with a first therapy when a supply connector is operatively coupled to the first therapy device and provides a second configuration of the user interface associated with a second therapy, different than the first configuration, when the supply connector is operatively coupled to the second therapy device. A hanger assembly is provided to hang the fluid source on different support structures. The fluid source also comprises a housing with a watershed region to shed liquid away from the user interface.

Inflatable Air Mattress System Architecture

A method may comprise receiving, at a central controller, a command, from a remote control, to adjust a feature of a first component of an air mattress framework; relaying, from the central controller, the command to the first component; receiving from the first component at the central controller, an indication of the success of the command; and relaying the indication from the central controller to the remote control.

Inflatable product having electric and manual pumps

An inflatable product can be inflated to a low pressure by a lower-power but high-volume electric pump, then “firmed” or fully inflated by an auxiliary pump. The auxiliary pump may be manually powered, such that the overall cost and complexity of the electric and auxiliary pumps are still lower than a high-power electric pump. The low power high volume electric pump can be easily powered by small batteries that will also provide an increased number of inflations compared to traditional high-power pumps for a given battery capacity. Using small batteries allows the pump to be very compact in size. The auxiliary pump may work through an auxiliary air chamber within the primary air chamber and fluidly connected thereto by a check valve. The electric pump may be reversible to provide for both inflation and deflation.

Manual inflation and deflation adjustment structure for a pump

Air assemblies (1000,2000,3000,4000,5000) having an inflation, a deflation, and a closed state for use with inflatable products, such as air mattresses. Specifically, air assemblies (1000,2000,3000,4000,5000) can be changed manually by a user by operating a directional control valve (1033,2043,3033,4033,5001) to inflate, deflate, or close the inflatable product. The directional control valve (1033,2043,3033,4033,5001) may also activate a pump in the inflation and deflation states and deactivate the pump in the closed state.
