SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A VOXEL BASED FURNITURE SYSTEM
A cellular furniture construction system that includes: a set of voxels, that form a lattice providing the shape and structure of the furniture construction, wherein regions of the furniture construction comprise distinct three-dimensional lattice arrangements of different types of voxels, providing distinct stress/strain properties to the regions; wherein each voxel comprises: a voxel type, defined by the stress and strain property of the voxel, and a discrete cellular three-dimensional structure, enabled to connect with other voxels along any one of the voxel interface surfaces. The system functions as a lightweight, modular, furniture construction system, wherein the system leverages arrangements of different voxel types to construct a furniture structure with desired stress/strain properties to regions of the structure.
Cushioning for furniture item
The presently claimed subject matter is directed to furniture elements. Further, the presently claimed subject matter concerns a furniture covering element configured with a cushioning arrangement.
Supple member with adjustable stiffness for lying and/or sitting furniture
The invention relates to a supple member with adjustable stiffness for lying and/or sitting furniture. This member includes one or more adjustable helical springs and a rotary part. The rotary part includes a hub able to rotate about the central axis and one or more elastically flexible fingers. Each finger extends from a first end secured to the hub of the rotary part, over an arc of circle about the central axis, to a second end, and cooperates with a corresponding end of one or more of the adjustable helical springs.
Height-adjustable supple member
The invention relates to a height-adjustable supple member for lying and/or sitting furniture, including one or more adjustable springs and a rotary part. Each adjustable spring is configured to change in height along a central axis under the effect of a radial stress relative to the central axis. The rotary part includes one or more rails each extending over an angular sector about the central axis, in a plane perpendicular to the central axis, from a first end to a second end more distant from the central axis than the first end. Each rail cooperates, in the radial direction relative to the central axis, with a corresponding adjustable spring among the one or more adjustable. The rotary part is able to rotate, about the central axis, so as to exert, through each rail, said radial stress on the corresponding adjustable spring.

Stiffness adjustment device
The invention relates to the field of furnishing. In particular, the invention relates to a stiffness adjustment device movable between an interference position for imposing a restriction on the deformation of a seat, back or bedding spring, and a non-interference position for releasing the spring from the restriction. The stiffness adjustment device comprises a resilient element, e.g. such as a flexible blade and, as it moves between the interference and non-interference positions it passes through an intermediate position in which the resilient element is subjected to resilient bending that is greater than in the interference and non-interference positions.
Furniture device with adjustable firmness
The invention relates to a furniture device configured to receive the weight of a being, said furniture device having a holding arrangement and at least one section. The section comprises a base, a movable plate element, a moving mechanism and at least one elastic device. The plate element is configured to interact with the at least one elastic device and to be moved by the moving mechanism in respect to the base in order to adjust the firmness of the at least one elastic device. The elastic device comprises a pocket made of a fabric, and an elastic member, the elastic member is arranged within said pocket, the pocket is attached to adjacent pockets whereby the attachment is formed so that adjacent elastic devices may move independently from one another along a distance (A), as measured from a free end of the elastic device and in a direction perpendicular to the plate member. The holding arrangement comprises a connecting portion and a holding member, which is connected to the base or the plate element and connected to the at least one elastic device via the connecting portion, such that the at least one elastic member is compressed and relaxed respectively over its entire length during movement of the plate element upwards and downwards. The connecting portions are arranged on a straight line, which extends through the centre of two or more attached elastic devices and the holding member is a flexible thread or string, which is directly connected to each connecting portion.
Chair reclining adjustment mechanism
The present invention discloses a chair reclining adjustment mechanism, including a chassis, a turntable rotatably connected to the chassis by using a rotation shaft, and an elastic resetting device that is disposed between the chassis and the turntable and is configured to always enable the turntable to have a moving trend of rotating towards one side of the rotation shaft, wherein a rotation gap is provided between the turntable and the chassis at the other side of the rotation shaft; the adjustment mechanism further includes a locking member capable of entering or slipping out of the rotation gap, a locking component that always enables the locking member to have a moving trend of entering the rotation gap and an unlocking component configured to pull the locking member to slip out of the rotation gap.
