SENSORY AND EXPERIENTIAL ENHANCEMENTS FOR PATIENT CARE SETTINGS WITHIN HOME AND HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENTS
A seating module for use with a chair frame includes a perimeter frame member. A resilient internal platform is attached to the perimeter frame member at a static portion. An upper seat cushion is disposed on top of a resilient internal platform. The resilient internal platform is biased to an original shape that defines a resting position. Upon a patient resting upon the resilient internal platform, the resilient internal platform deflects in a downward direction toward a seating position and contemporaneously exerts an upward biasing force that assists the patient in reaching a seated position and also assists the patient is moving upward from the seated position.

Extendable Seating Interconnected Mechanism and Seating Supporting Frame
An extendable seating interconnected mechanism and a seating supporting frame, including an interconnected assembly, a seating frame, and a backrest mount, wherein the backrest mount is rotatably connected to the interconnected assembly and the seating frame, respectively; the interconnected assembly includes a mounting plate and a driving link, wherein the mounting plate includes a lateral-plate part and a supporting part; the driving link is rotatably connected between the seating frame and the lateral-plate part; an end of the supporting part is connected to the lateral-plate part; and an opposite end of the supporting part is rotatably connected to the backrest mount. The interconnected mechanism and the seating supporting frame optimize and simplify the structure, leading to a compression of the height of the seating supporting frame; different seating positions may be adjusted smoother by connecting the extendable and retractable footrest mechanism and interconnected assembly, which improves the seating comfort.
Mesh chair with full lumbar back support
A home or office chair is disclosed having a flexible mesh back rest and a full lumbar back support including upper and lower lumbar supports that are located one above the other at the back of the chair to press against the outside of the mesh back rest. The upper and lower lumbar supports are connected to the back of the chair by a bolt so as to move back and forth in first and opposite directions in response to a user seated in the chair moving his back against and away from the flexible mesh back rest. The upper and lower lumbar supports of the full lumbar back support apply continuous pressure through the mesh back rest to provide support for upper and lower lumbar areas of the user's back regardless of whether the user's back is at rest or pressing against the mesh back rest.
