Picture Frame
A picture frame comprising a picture carrier portion and a frame portion, the picture carrier portion to carry a picture member; the frame portion comprising frame members with: an outer side member hingedly connected at a first hinge connection to the picture carrier portion; a back member hingedly connected at a second hinge connection to the outer side member, and an inner side member hingedly connected at a third hinge connection to the back member, wherein in an assembled position: the outer side member forms an outer side of the frame, the back member forms a back of the frame, and; the inner side member forms an inner side of the frame, wherein a connection system is arranged to lock the inner side member to the picture carrier portion.
SNAP-FIT FRAMING SYSTEM
A frame system according to one embodiment includes a hollow outer frame element that includes a plurality of recesses formed along inner faces of walls of the outer frame element. The outer frame element further includes a plurality of ribs formed along the inner face and an inner landing that protrudes inwardly into a center opening of the outer frame element. The frame system also includes a back plate configured for insertion into the center opening. The back plate includes a plurality of locking ribs for reception within the plurality of recesses to generate a snap-fit attachment of the back plate to the hollow outer frame element.
WALL MOUNTED FRAME FEATURING FRONT LOADING CAPABILITY
A front-loaded frame defines a cavity accessible through an opening. The cavity may have an upper pocket and a lower pocket that extend upward and downward of the opening, behind lower and upper lips of the front surface of the frame, respectively. Thereby a display item may be loaded through the opening through a two-step process involving sliding an upper portion of the display item into the upper pocket, which is deeper than the lower pocket, so that a lower portion of the display item clears the lower lip so that the lower portion can be seated along a lower surface of the cavity, while the upper lip prevents the upper portion from falling out of the cavity.
Frame assembly
A frame assembly for supporting a flat article. In one aspect, the frame assembly may include a stack including a transparent window panel and a frame. The frame may include a floor structure for supporting the stack and an outer annular wall coupled to and surrounding the floor structure, the outer annular wall including a plurality of corners, an outer surface defining a periphery of the frame, an inner surface defining a display cavity, and a front edge that defines a display opening configured to allow the stack to pass therethrough into the display cavity. The inner surface of the outer annular wall may include a plurality of recessed regions, each of the recessed regions encompassing one of the corners of the outer annular wall.
PICTURE FRAME AND MAT SYSTEM
Presented is a Picture frame for visually displaying a picture template. The picture frame includes a base, a top cover, an internal backing, and a mat. The base includes a first side, a second side disposed opposite to the first side, and a peripheral portion extending along the entire perimeter of the first side and the second side. The first side of the base includes raised projections. An internal backing is positioned on the raised projections and the internal backing is removably connected to a magnet. The mat includes a plurality of locking tabs for releasably holding the picture template. The mat further includes a ferromagnetic metal plate. The picture frame enables quick and easy picture template replacement of picture template and the picture in the picture frame.
Comic and Card Encapsulative Apparatus
A protective apparatus for encapsulating printed collectibles, including comic books and cards. The protective apparatus comprising a forward panel forming a recess adapted to receive a base panel. The printed collectible positions between the forward panel and the base panel. The base panel is hingedly connected to a stand.
Apparatus and method for displaying items
A frame for displaying items such as photographs, drawings, paintings, or documents, as well as a method of displaying such items, is provided. A substantially flat panel has a plurality of holes extending through the panel. A line, such as a string or rope, extends through each of the holes alternately through the front side of the panel and through the back side of the panel. The line is pulled taut to substantially remove slack in the line so that the line runs along the front surface of the panel between pairs of holes. The line is configured to cover corners or edges of a display item, thereby holding the display item securely in place within the frame.
FRAME SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for framing an artwork substrate includes a shoulder, a rib, and a spacer connected to the shoulder and the rib. An adhesive on the rib retains the artwork substrate in relation to the rib and within bounds of the shoulder. The rib may be shorter than the shoulder. Depending on the height of the rib in relation to the shoulder, the artwork substrate may be positioned on the rib inset below the shoulder, flush with the shoulder, or otherwise. The spacer offsets the rib from the shoulder, and the artwork substrate may be positioned with edges abutting the shoulder in a box arrangement or offset from the shoulder in a floating arrangement.
Picture Frame Assembly
A picture frame assembly that has an ornamental appearance of a flower includes a plate that may have an ornamental appearance of a flower. A rod is coupled to the plate and the rod may penetrate a support surface. Thus, the rod may support the plate above the support surface. A picture frame is coupled to the plate and the picture frame may display a picture.
