The present invention is a system and method for providing a comforter that is divided into three sections or panels, wherein a center panel of the comforter may be pulled down while allowing the remaining two outer panels to remain up and on top of the other occupants of the bed on either side of the center panel, wherein a small infant sleeper crib may be placed in the gap between the two outer panels of the comforter without any danger of the infant being covered by the center panel.

This present invention relates to a custom fitted sheet to substantially cover a mattress. The custom fitted sheet includes a label on the top side to notify the users that the sheet is in a proper orientation before being applied to the mattress. The label may read “TOP” to indicate a top section of the sheet, wherein the label prevents the sheet from being installed on the mattress in an incorrect manner. A plurality of sleeves is present near the top corners of the sheet, and are disposed on the side surfaces of the mattress when the sheet is placed around the mattress. The sleeves provide secure storage for small personal items without risk of loss or misplacement. An elastic band is also provided along the peripheral edge of the sheet to assist in securing the sheet around the mattress.

At least some of the fastening elements can be color-coded to identify the size of the bed for which the duvet cover is to cover. One of the fabric layers and the fill layer can include fastening elements that engage one another to secure the fill layer in position within the cover assembly. The duvet cover hides the appearance of the fill layer in the pocket and covers the opening through which the fill layer is received.

A bedding protector for installing over a bedding to serve as a machine washable barrier between a user and their bedding. The bedding protector comprises a body that is adapted to be attached to the bedding in a secured position such that the interior side of the body lays atop an exterior side of the bedding. A fastening system includes a bedding protector fastener configured to releasably mate with a bedding fastener, such that when they are secured to one another the bedding protector and bedding are thereby secured to each other. In one embodiment, the bedding protector wraps around the bedding to lay against the exterior side of the bedding so as to sandwich the bedding. In another embodiment, the bedding protector secures to the bedding via a zipper fastener. The bedding protector prevents dirt, odors, and oils from a sleeper's skin from transferring onto the bedding.

For a top sheet it would be marked along the top edge of the sheet as well as the body of the sheet which contacts the corners of the mattress at the foot of the bed, and for a fitted bottom sheet the markings would occur at each corner of the sheet which is associated with a corner of the mattress. Optional side indicators located between the corner indicators may also be included. The purpose is to provide a quick and easy identifier for locating the corners of the mattress with the sheet so that the sheet is quickly and easily placed symmetrically upon the mattress the first time.
