Flip straw cup assembly
A flip straw cup assembly having a container body, a lid that may be detachable and a straw assembly. The lid Includes a flip straw that is biased towards an extended position and retractable into a recess and securable by a flip lock. The straw assembly includes a straw body, a cap and a resealable seam extending the longitudinal length of the straw body that is adapted to open the straw body for cleaning.
STRAW MADE FROM PAPER OR PAPER-LIKE MATERIAL
A straw (1) made from paper or paper-like material and comprising a tubular body (3) having a circumference formed by a wall (5) surrounding a central axis and a bendable part extending axially along the central axis (6), wherein said bendable part comprises at least two corrugated profiles (8A-D) provided in the wall, and each corrugated profile comprises inward corrugations (9A-D) and outward corrugations (10A-D) being positioned one after the other in axial direction along the central axis, and a system and method to produce the straw.
LIP-PUCKER AVOIDING DRINKING STRAW
A lip-pucker avoiding drinking straw providing a tube body defining an enclosed conduit for a flow of liquid. The tube body and enclosed conduit have a substantially round sectional profile at a distal end meant to be placed into a container of liquid, and a substantially oblong sectional profile at a proximal end meant to be placed between lips of a user and to be accommodated by the lips of the user without requiring puckering or pursing of the lips. The sectional profile of the enclosed conduit changes from a round profile at the distal end and through approximately 90 percent of the tube body to an oblong profile at the proximal end, with the change of profile occurring at a transition segment near the proximal end. An optional bending segment can be provided to provide a bend in the tube body or allow the user to make such a bend. The sectional area or circumference of the enclosed conduit at the proximal end is not less than the sectional area at the distal end.
FLIP STRAW CUP ASSEMBLY
A flip straw cup assembly haying a container body, a lid that may be detachable and a straw assembly. The lid includes a flip straw that is biased towards an extended position and retractable into a recess and securable by a flip lock. The straw assembly includes a straw body, a cap and a resealable seam extending the longitudinal length of the straw body that is adapted to open the straw body for cleaning.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING A CORRUGATED ZONE TO A DRINKING STRAW
Method and apparatus for making a corrugated zone to a bendable drinking straw. The drinking straw is made of a web that is moved along a guided path in a wanted speed and the corrugated zone is created by clamping the web with a clamping mechanism against the guided path for a wanted period of time to stop the motion of the second part of the web after the clamping mechanism.
Novelty Drinking Straw with Modular Building Blocks
The present invention relates to a novelty and educational drinking instrument for human beverage consumption consisting of a series of interlocking, interchangeable or inter-connectable three-dimensional receptacles of varying shapes, sizes, colors, materials and exterior or interior coatings. Each receptacle has at least one connector of a predetermined size and shape that will couple and decouple from another receptacle. Further, each receptacle individually and multiple receptacles coupled together will form an elongated cavity, allowing liquid to be drawn through it from a beverage container or multiple beverage containers to an end consumer. The multiple receptacles link together via their respective connectors to spell out words, phrases, symbols, numbers or combinations of for use as a drinking instrument.
FLEXIBLE PAPER STRAW
A flexible paper straw includes a paper tube which is a spiral tube having a tube wall with at least two layers and formed by using glue and paper material while the paper material is paper sheet material having at least two layers of paper, a first layer of paper and a second layer of paper; and a compressed corrugated portion which is a circular tube having parallel ridges and grooves on longitudinal sections thereof, formed on the tube wall of a part of the paper tube with a certain length and able to be bent freely.
Buildable drinking straw
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are presented for a buildable drinking straw. A segment of a drinking straw is hollow. A segment has a narrow end and a wider end. A wider end of a segment of a drinking straw is opposite a narrow end of the segment of the drinking straw and has a wider diameter than the narrow end of the segment of the drinking straw so that the segment of the drinking straw tapers in diameter from the wider end to the narrow end of the segment of the drinking straw.
PAPER TUBE, AND BASE PAPER FOR PAPER TUBE
An object is to provide a paper tube offering excellent rigidity, as well as a base paper for paper tubes used for manufacturing such paper tube. As a solution, a paper tube is provided which has two or more but no more than five paper layers, whose outermost layer or innermost layer, or both, among the paper layers, has a density of 0.90 g/cm.sup.3 or higher, and whose modulus of elasticity as measured by the 3-point bending test is 2.0 GPa or higher, along with a base paper for paper tubes which has two or more but no more than five paper layers and whose outermost layer or innermost layer, or both, among the paper layers, has a density of 0.90 g/cm.sup.3 or higher.
Paper Straw
A foldable drinking straw made of paper developing along a longitudinal axis, and having a flexible shaped portion configured to allow a folding, one over the other, of two adjacent portions of the straw. The flexible shaped portion is defined by a plurality of depressions, disposed in succession along the longitudinal axis, and each made on a limited circumferential portion of the circular section of the straw.
