TUFTED CARPET
A tufted carpet comprising a secondary backing which defines a volume being a parallelepiped having three pair of parallel faces, a first pair of parallel faces defining a upper surface of the secondary backing and a lower face of the tufted carpet, at least a second pair of parallel faces being inclined with respect to the first pair of parallel faces under an angle α1 less than 90°, preferably in the range of 10 to 87°, the angle being the smallest angle measured between the planes defining the first pair of parallel faces and second pair of parallel faces.
CARPET EDGING AND METHOD OF APPLYING THE SAME
Various embodiments are directed to an airline carpet kit comprising a plurality of carpet components collectively forming a substantially continuous floor covering, for example, for use within an aircraft interior. Each of the plurality of carpet components comprises a tufted carpet backing having a plurality of carpet tufts extending from a back surface of the carpet backing and above a top surface of the carpet backing; and an edge strip comprising an amorphous plastic material, wherein the edge strip extends around a lateral edge of the carpet backing between a base portion embedded within a back surface of the carpet backing and an edge surface defining a perimeter edge of the carpet component. The edge surface of a first carpet component abuts an edge surface of an adjacent second carpet component to form an at least substantially continuous floor covering for an aircraft interior.
CARPET PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
A carpet product including a primary backing layer and a plurality of yarn tufts. The plurality of yarn tufts are tufted in and extend upwardly from a top surface of the primary backing layer to form a tufted carpet product. The carpet product has an inner portion and a peripheral portion surrounding at least a portion of the inner portion and extending along at least one of the edges of the primary backing layer. The plurality of yarn tufts include a plurality of peripheral yarn tufts positioned within the peripheral portion of the tufted carpet product. A portion of the peripheral yarn tufts are anchored to other peripheral yarn tufts. At least a portion of each anchored peripheral yarn tuft is entangled with one or more of the other peripheral yarn tufts.
Plastic rattan mat glue injection and penetration structure and processing method thereof
A plastic rattan mat glue injection and penetration structure and a processing method thereof are provided. Two plastic layers are respectively provided on end portions at two sides of a rattan mat, and protruding structures are respectively formed on the end portions of the rattan mat. Furthermore, glue injection intervals of the rattan mat are defined by glue injection molds, and each of the glue injection intervals is disposed between the glue injection molds and a side of the rattan mat.
Flooring edge tools
A hand-held or table-mounted tool for adhering a flooring edge finish to a flooring edge. The hand-held tool includes a main body, which can include a handle, a base, and a bi-level soleplate, which is heated during application to adhere a flooring edge finish to a flooring edge. The soleplate of the tool can be made of polymer, carbon, metal, ceramic, glass, or a mixture thereof.
MULTI-PIECE RUG AND MAT ARRANGEMENT AND ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING
A multi-piece floor arrangement and assembly forms a floor covering that includes a top, or upper, rug portion and bottom, or lower, mat portion, and pocketed corner areas in each corner of an underside surface of the rug portion into which corresponding corners of the mat portion are insertable. The pocketed corner areas secure the rug portion with the mat portion when both are placed on an underlying surface while enabling a flow of air between the rug portion and the mat portion. The mat portion includes multiple interlocking sections that help to maintain the floor covering in a uniform planar shape and provide an aesthetically-pleasing appearance when placed on an underlying surface. The multi-piece arrangement and assembly does not move relative to that surface, yet does not require either a cumbersome installation or removal process.
CARPET END MOLDING
In one embodiment, a method of forming a product used in covering an edge, comprising: providing a molding agent between a first surface of a first material and a second surface of a second material; forming, at one end portion corresponding to each of the first material and the second material and the molding agent, a predefined geometric shape that is different than an opposing end of each of the first material and the second material; and persistently maintaining the predefined geometric shape by curing the molding agent.
VEHICLE FLOOR SILENCER WITH WALL SUPPORT ELEMENT
A vehicle floor silencer includes a base portion and a flange formed along an edge of the base portion. The flange includes a step, a wall extending from the step, and at least one wall support element extending from the wall to the step and structured to prevent at least an associated portion of the wall from deflecting in a direction toward an end of the step. The wall support is structured to prevent deflection of the wall along an edge of the floor silencer.
Hidden edge for flooring finishing
This application discloses a flooring edge finish that includes a flexible strip having an adhesive affixed to a top surface of the flexible strip and a hinge, wherein the hinge is a gap or an absence of the adhesive or a lower amount of the adhesive, on a portion of the top surface of the flexible strip, and wherein the flooring edge finish is upwardly foldable along the hinge to bind, protect, and conceal a flooring edge.
