A covering module for installation on a subsurface and for attachment to additional modules to form a finished decorative surface is provided. The covering module comprises a decorative covering that is detachably or permanently attached to an anchor sheet. The covering module is configured so as to expose a joining region of the decorative covering and a joining region of the anchor sheet.

The present invention describes a floor decoration kit comprising two elements, on the one hand a removable surface covering (2) and on the other an anchoring sublayer (3) while the composition of said anchoring sublayer (3) is PVC-based and comprises at least 60% by weight of a plasticizer.

The resulting composite article is comprised of a chemically abated flooring surface containing pores, at least one abatement chemical in said pores, a polymer-containing barrier material, and a floorcovering article.

The invention pertains to a method to removably connect a carpet product having a pile side and a fibrous back side to a surface, wherein the method comprises the step of adhering a double face tape with a first side of the tape to the fibrous back side of the carpet product and connecting the carpet product to the surface by adhering the second side of the double face tape to the surface, the first side of said double face tape is provided with multiple hooks extending from this side and having a length of 0.1-10 mm, and the second side of said double face tape is provided with multiple adhesive nano fibres extending from the second side, each fibre having a distal tip that has a surface extending perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the fibre, the surface having a diameter of 1-900 nm. The present invention relates to a carpet tile or carpet strip which is suitable for the contract market, more particularly office or commercial buildings, comprising a machine or mechanically woven carpet, comprising warp and weft yarns, a needle felt, an intermediate layer between the needle felt and the machine or mechanically woven fabric, wherein a part of the warp yarns on the back side of the machine or mechanically woven fabric have at least partially fused together. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of a carpet tile or carpet strip which is suitable for the contract market, in particular office and commercial buildings.

A carpet installation tool assembly configured to stretch carpet between two non-parallel walls is provided. The carpet installation tool assembly comprises a first leg positioning assembly, a second leg positioning assembly, a central frame member, and a hinge arm tool. The carpet installation tool assembly can be used to stretch carpet to minimize waves and bunching during installation of carpet in rooms that are not square.
