Mailbox with telescoping drawer
A mailbox having a housing, floor, mail receptacle, front door and traveling rod. The mail receptacle is situated on top of a sliding rail assembly affixed to the floor. A first end of the traveling rod is pivotally connected to a first horizontal bar that is secured to a rear portion of the sliding rail assembly. Two first support members are pivotally connected to the right and left ends of the first horizontal bar. The first support members are also pivotally connected to two second support members that extend from the rear end of the mailbox to the front door inside of the housing. A second end of the traveling rod is attached to a shaft, and a wheel bearing is situated on either end of the shaft. A receiving bracket attached to the rear wall of the mail receptacle is configured to receive the wheel bearings and shaft.
Safe "4U'" Mailbox
A security mailbox system known as the “Safe “4U” Mailbox”, fully enclosed mailbox which is constructed from some sort of plastic, metal, fabricated material, or some sort of environmentally friendly material. An apparatus for physical correspondence recognition and processing in a postal system is described, comprising a housing comprising an opening for receiving physical correspondence, the physical correspondence including a readable element including textual information, and a secure enclosure for storing the physical correspondence, a visual processing and digitizing component, for processing the physical correspondence and the at least one readable element, dimension and weighing component for determining dimensions and weight of the physical correspondence, and a communication component coupled to the housing, for transmitting and receiving recognition and processing information related to the physical correspondence and readable element.
Mailbox system with illuminated address information
A mailbox system includes a mailbox body for receiving and storing mail items. One or more receiver units are disposed along an outside facing surface of the mailbox body and function to receive at least one address indicator having a plurality of lighted elements along a front facing surface thereof. An internal controller having a power unit is positioned within the mailbox body. The power unit includes at least one battery and at least one solar cell for supplying the necessary electrical information to the receiver unit and the address indicators. Physical markings are disposed along the address indicator and form address information. When activated, the plurality of lighted elements display address information.
Parcel drop box
A parcel drop box for receiving a parcel in the presence or absence of a receiver of the parcel. The parcel drop box includes a cuboidal enclosure with an open-top. A lid pivotally covers the open-top and can be lifted for gaining access into the interior of the enclosure. A pair of flaps coupled inside the enclosure to the sidewalls and just below a periphery of the open-top. The flaps can pivot between a horizontal position and a downward vertical position. The lid is coupled to the pair of flaps, such as pivoting of the lid results in pivoting of the flaps. Opening of the lid results in pivoting of the flaps to a horizontal position which restricts the access to the interior of the enclosure from the open-top i.e., the pair of flaps substantially cover the open-top when in the horizontal position.
Vehicular-Themed Ornamental Mailbox
A vehicular-themed ornamental mailbox includes a storage compartment, a lid, a speaker module, a first ornamentation, a second ornamentation, a third ornamentation, and a fourth ornamentation. The storage compartment includes a top panel, a rear panel, a bottom panel, a left panel, and a right panel thus completing an internal storage area. The lid is hingedly connected to the bottom panel so that the storage area can be closed. A mail recovery device for insertion into a mailbox, the device structured to adjust to the internal dimensions of the mailbox. A base member of the device rests on top of mailbox bottom surface, a pair of side members are disposed along the side surfaces of the mailbox, and a rear member is disposed along the rear surface of the mailbox. The side members include a plurality of side portions coupled together by a plurality of fold lines, while the rear member includes a plurality of rear portions coupled together by a plurality of fold lines. The fold lines are structured to provide the device with dimensional flexibility so that the size of the mail recovery device may be adjusted to the mailbox internal dimensions.
