Custom bedding systems and apparatuses adapted to a bed having a box spring and a mattress, for securing desired sides of a bed to prevent a bed occupant from rolling off the side. Embodiments include a fitted bed sheet, inflatable bolster pillows and bolster pillow cases, with the fitted sheet having the soft (loop) side of hook and loop fastener straps affixed to the perimeter (sides and bottom), and the bolster pillow cases having the hard (hook) side of hook and loop fastener straps affixed along the entire length of the case, and when the hook and loop fastener straps are affixed together along any side or the entire perimeter, the bolster pillows serve as a soft yet sturdy barrier that prevents a bed occupant from rolling off the bed.

This invention is a fitted bed sheet that converts to a completely flat bed sheet by releasing the elastic and zippers placed on each corner. This allows this bed sheet to be easily folded like a flat sheet and easy to store. This bed sheet is designed to be reversible—one side creates a more traditional look, the other has a more ornamental design.

Bedding
A bedding assembly may comprise a touch layer, a warmth layer, and a decorative layer. The touch layer and warmth layer may functionally correspond to a top sheet and a duvet insert in a conventional bedding system, respectively. The decorative layer is different than conventional duvet covers, since it does not enclose a duvet insert. The layers may be stacked and attached to one another through a series of fasteners that are located largely along the edges of each layer. The upper surface of the touch layer may attach to the lower surface of the warmth layer, and the upper surface of the warmth layer may attach to the lower surface of the decorative layer. A top portion of the touch layer may also fold over the warmth layer and attach to a top portion of the upper surface of the decorative layer.
Bedding
A bedding assembly may comprise a touch layer, a warmth layer, and a decorative layer. The touch layer and warmth layer may functionally correspond to a top sheet and a duvet insert in a conventional bedding system, respectively. The decorative layer is different than conventional duvet covers, since it does not enclose a duvet insert. A fitted mattress covering includes a body and an elastic strip. The body includes an upper surface and a side portion extending therefrom. The upper surface and the side portion together define a cavity therebetween shaped to receive a mattress. The side portion defines a lower edge of the body. The elastic strip is attached to the lower edge of the body and extends across and/or around a portion of the cavity. The elastic strip includes an inwardly-facing surface facing into the cavity and an outwardly-facing surface facing away from the cavity. At least part of one or both of the inwardly-facing surface and/or the outwardly-facing surface includes a non-slip portion. The non-slip portion is configured to generate a higher coefficient of friction with an adjacent surface than the elastic strip would provide without the non-slip portion.

A fitted mattress covering includes a body and an elastic strip. The body includes an upper surface and a side portion extending therefrom. The upper surface and the side portion together define a cavity therebetween shaped to receive a mattress. The side portion defines a lower edge of the body. The elastic strip is attached to the lower edge of the body and extends across and/or around a portion of the cavity. The elastic strip includes an inwardly-facing surface facing into the cavity and an outwardly-facing surface facing away from the cavity. At least part of one or both of the inwardly-facing surface and/or the outwardly-facing surface includes a non-slip portion. The non-slip portion is configured to generate a higher coefficient of friction with an adjacent surface than the elastic strip would provide without the non-slip portion.
DISPOSABLE HYGIENIC AND ANTI-ALLERGENIC PILLOW PROTECTOR
A method of making a hygienic disposable pillow protector involves a step of folding a pillow protector material to define a first surface and a second surface, and to also define a closed end and an open end that is opposite the closed end. The pillow protector material is aligned to further define two unsealed edges. The method then involves sealing the unsealed edges of the pillow protector material by ultrasonic welding or bonding to define two sealed edges extending from the closed end to the open end to thereby define an opening sized to enable insertion of pillow into the disposable pillow protector. The method then involves applying a first strip of double-sided adhesive tape and applying a second strip of double-sided adhesive tape. A pillow may inserted into the disposable pillow protector and the opening sealed by forming folded seams with the first and second strips of tape.
DISPOSABLE HYGIENIC AND ANTI-ALLERGENIC PILLOW PROTECTOR
