[Solution] A coffee maker 1 includes: an extraction container (second container 42) extracting coffee liquid from hot water and coffee powder; a server container (first container 41) storing the coffee liquid; a communication part 43 communicating an inside of the container and an inside of the server container; and a filter 44, disposed inside the extraction container. The coffee powder is filtered out and removed by permeating the coffee liquid through the filter. The coffee maker is configured to filter the coffee liquid by using the filter 44 while moving the coffee liquid from the extraction container to the server container via the communication part 43. The server container stores water as basis of the hot water for extracting the coffee liquid.

A filter capsule for secondary filtration of extracted coffee is provided, where the filter capsule comprises a housing and at least one filter element or consists thereof. The housing comprises a bottom, at least one side wall and at least one cover or consists thereof, the at least one filter element being disposed in an interior space of the housing. Coffee extracted on a brewing strainer can be subjected to a secondary filtration so that suspended particles and emulsified oils of a specific size are separated from the coffee by the filter element of the filter capsule and a new type of coffee is produced. The use of the filter capsule for secondary filtration of coffee is therefore proposed.

A beverage system includes a housing and a brew basket associated with the housing. The brew basket includes a brew chamber. A pressurization system is associated with the brew chamber. The pressurization system is selectively operable to increase a pressure within the brew chamber to control a rate at which a fluid passes through the brew chamber to an outlet formed in said brew basket.

A compacting auger for ground coffee has an automatic cut off that responds to either timing signals or to the torque resistance to the augur offered by the coffee that has been compacted. The automation of the cut off increases the consistency of compaction and reduces the amount of skill required to compact ground coffee for making espresso.

A pressurized beverage dispensing device that includes a vessel, a gas reservoir, a pressure regulation device, a primary filter, and a tap assembly. The gas reservoir is configured to supply pressurized gas within the vessel. The pressure regulation device is configured to maintain a pressure within the vessel that is above ambient pressure. The primary filter is configured to fit inside the vessel and to be removable from the vessel. The tap assembly includes a tap valve, a restrictor, and a flow straightener. The tap valve is configured to control dispensing through an outlet path. The restrictor is within the outlet path of the tap assembly and is configured to accelerate a flow of beverage to a turbulent flow. The flow straightener is within the outlet path of the tap assembly, downstream of the restrictor, and is configured to recombine, slow, and straighten the flow of beverage.

A brewing cavity and a coffee brewer including the brewing cavity are provided. The brewing cavity includes a brewing cavity shell and a brewing chamber having a groove with an inner diameter less than that of the brewing chamber. A side wall of the groove has a coffee outlet communicatively connected with an exterior. A bottom portion of the groove is provided with a through hole internally provided with a coffee seal ring. A pressure sealing water outlet element is fixedly mounted on an upper end surface of the groove. A filtering portion for filtering coffee is arranged above the pressure sealing water outlet element. A first sliding hole in the filtering portion, a second sealing sliding hole in the pressure sealing water outlet element and a third sealing sliding hole in the coffee seal ring are internally provided with discharge portion capable of sliding along the through hoe axially.

The device for cleaning a filter holder of a coffee machine comprises a support body for supporting the filter holder, a motor on whose shaft scraping elements are assembled for removing the used coffee grounds contained in the internal chamber of the filter holder and at least one brush with a plurality of bristles to collect the residual of the used coffee grounds. The device comprises activation elements for activating the motor and controlled by the correct positioning of the filter holder adapted to receive the scraping elements and the brush, a collection member for collecting the used coffee grounds extracted from the filter holder by the scraping elements. The support body has a housing in which the filter holder is positioned and the scraping elements have at least one plough blade to remove the used coffee grounds from the chamber.
