A cooking appliance comprises a lid (1), an appliance body and an inner cap (3), the lid (1) being arranged on the appliance body in a manner capable of opening and closing the appliance body, the appliance body comprising a heating structure, and the lid (1) comprising: a lid body (4); a baking assembly (5) arranged below the lid body (4), the lid body (4) being provided with a venting passage (6) through which the inside of the cooking appliance communicates with the exterior, the inner cap (3) being detachably mounted to the lid body (4) and located below the baking assembly (5), a lateral wall of the venting passage (6) being provided with a venting hole; a blocking member (27) slidably arranged in the venting passage (6), the blocking member (27) sliding downwards to a bottom of the venting passage (6) when the inner cap (3) is detached, and the blocking member (27) blocking the venting hole when the blocking member (27) is located at a top or a bottom of the venting passage (6). The cooking appliance solves the problem that electrical components inside the lid (1) of a cooking appliance in the prior art are susceptible to moisture.
Digital Power Supply
Provided is an apparatus and method for a digital power supply that can provide independent power control, and control variable power, for two or more electrical loads. Disclosed embodiments may reduce the magnitude of harmonic currents and/or flicker introduced into a power system. Embodiments include a microprocessor that delivers power to electric loads using phase-controlled AC current. The microprocessor may calculate a power array corresponding to a requested power for each electric load. Logic is provided for populating the power array in a pattern that reduces the magnitude of harmonic currents and flicker.
INFRARED HEATING COOKER
Provided is an infrared heating cooker enabling a user's desired second cooking pan to be mounted on an upper surface of a first cooking pan, such that food can be cooked on the second cooking pan. The infrared heating cooker includes: a lower body; an upper body; an upper heating element provided at the upper body; a first cooking pan provided on the upper surface of the lower body, including a separation prevention unit at predetermined intervals along the edge of the upper surface thereof, and capable of transferring heat obtained from the upper heating element to the upper side thereof; and a second cooking pan mounted on the upper surface of the first cooking pan while being detachably provided at the separation prevention unit of the first cooking pan, such that food can be cooked by receiving heat from the upper heating element provided inside the upper body.
OPTIMIZED COOKING METHOD SELECTION
A guided cooking method uses a plurality of cooking appliances and a remote user interface device. The remote user interface device receives an input indicating a food item and generates a list of recommendations, including at least one recommended cooking appliance and at least one recommended cycle, for preparing the indicated food item. The method also includes receiving a selection response corresponding to one entry from the list of recommendations via the remote user interface device. The method may then include transmitting a signal from the remote user interface device to the cooking appliance indicated by the selection response to activate the cooking appliance to perform the cycle indicated by the selection response, or providing step-by-step instructions, from the remote user interface device, for operating the cooking appliance indicated by the selection response to perform the cycle indicated by the selection response.
Digital power supply with wireless monitoring and control
Provided is an apparatus and method for a digital power supply that can provide independent power control for two or more electrical loads. Some disclosed embodiments provide continuous, variable power and other disclosed embodiments provide discrete power levels. Disclosed embodiments may reduce the magnitude of harmonic currents and/or flicker introduced into a power system. Embodiments include a microprocessor that delivers power to electric loads using phase-controlled AC current. In some embodiments, the microprocessor may calculate a power array corresponding to a requested power for each electric load. Logic is provided for populating the power array in a pattern that reduces the magnitude of harmonic currents and flicker. Portions of the disclosure include a band controller for delivering power to achieve and maintain a desired target temperature, and a wireless controller for controlling temperature from a remote device.
ROASTING AND GLAZING APPARATUS
A roasting and glazing apparatus includes a roaster, an agitator mounted within the roaster bowl for mixing a mixture of nuts and sugar during a roasting or glazing operation, a heater controlled to heat the roaster bowl during the roasting or glazing operation, and a cover removably mounted to the roaster bowl. The cover includes a reservoir for receiving water from a user and restricting water flow from the reservoir into the mixture of nuts and sugar in the roaster bowl. The cover and the roaster bowl together define a vent on a side of the cover opposite the reservoir. The vent is configured to direct steam out of the roaster bowl in a direction away from the reservoir.
Cooking appliance
A cooking appliance includes an appliance cover, appliance body and inner lid, the appliance cover arranged above the appliance body in a closable and openable manner, the appliance body having a heating structure. The appliance cover includes a cover body that includes a venting passage providing communication between the cooking appliance and the outside, the inner lid detachably mounted to the cover body; a baking assembly arranged below the cover body, the inner lid located below the baking assembly when mounted to the cover body; a venting cap detachably mounted at any one end of the two ends of the venting passage, wherein the venting cap is assembled at a bottom end of the venting passage when the inner lid is dismounted, and the venting cap is assembled at a top end of the venting passage after the inner lid is mounted.
DC COOKING APPLIANCE
A DC powered cooking appliance which uses an induction or a resistance based DC heating element and excludes AC powered heating elements and preferably does not rely on directly connected combustion powered heating elements. Some embodiments include wattage of 1500 watts or less, voltages of 40 or 48 volts or more and are installed on a boat, van, rv or bus such that an inverter of that boat, van, rv or bus is not electrically connected to the cooking appliance.
STEREOVISION MONITORING SYSTEM FOR COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance includes a body defining a cooking cavity. A door is rotatably coupled to the body. An imager assembly is coupled to an interior surface of the door. The imager assembly includes an image sensor configured to obtain image data within a field of view, a first primary mirror positioned at a first angle proximate to the image sensor and within the field of view, and a second primary mirror positioned at a second angle proximate to the image sensor and within the field of view. A secondary mirror assembly includes multiple secondary mirrors coupled to the body within the cooking cavity. The secondary mirrors reflect image views within the cooking cavity to the first primary mirror and the second primary mirror which reflects the image views to the image sensor to be captured as the image data.
Hot food merchandising unit with roller grill
The present invention provides single units that contain a large lower chamber, and one or more display shelves above this chamber on the inside of the unit. A roller grill or other large appliance may be provided in the lower chamber, or the chamber may be left open to display large food products or other items. The shelves may be heated for keeping foods displayed on the shelves warm; however, the shelves need not be heated for food products that do not need to be kept warm. Heating elements, lights and sensors may be adjusted using electronic controls to provide optimum temperatures inside the various chambers of the display units. Display units of the present invention allow store owners to utilize the space above a roller grill or other appliance to merchandise additional food products as opposed to requiring a separate food merchandiser to occupy additional valuable counter space. The performance of the roller grills of the present invention is improved over stand-alone roller grills, thereby reducing the potential for lost sales due to food not being sufficiently heated.
