A cooking grate for a grill is provided having substantially hollow rungs in fluid communication with each other and/or with a substantially hollow border to provide improved thermal management and more efficient heat transfer.

A barbecue utensil having at least one tool which can be stowed in a housing, wherein preferably at least one tool is designed in the form of a foldable turner. A plurality of tools such as, for example, barbecue tongs, a bread knife and/or a fork can be combined with one another.

Example transversely-loadable rotisserie skewer racks are disclosed. An example rotisserie skewer rack includes a first support plate and a second support plate spaced apart from the first support plate. The example rotisserie skewer rack further includes a plurality of skewers extending between the first support plate and the second support plate. The example rotisserie skewer rack includes a first mounting bracket coupled to the first support plate, and a second mounting bracket coupled to the second support plate. The first mounting bracket and the second mounting bracket are respectively configured to be transversely loadable onto a rotisserie spit.

Example transversely-loadable rotisserie baskets are disclosed. An example rotisserie basket includes a base and a lid coupled to the base. The lid is movable relative to the base between an open position and a closed position. The example rotisserie basket further includes a first mounting bracket coupled to a first side of the base, and a second mounting bracket coupled to a second side of the base located opposite the first side of the base. The first mounting bracket and the second mounting bracket are respectively configured to be transversely loadable onto a rotisserie spit.

A utensil holding device is disclosed. The device includes one or more removeable and adjustable arms, a continuous rod having a plurality of sections including a first section configured for insertion into the ground, a second section configured to abut the ground and provide support, and a third section configured to receive the one or more removeable and adjustable arms. The sections are preferably integrally connected and formed of a continuous rod having a plurality of bends. Certain embodiments of the one or more removeable and adjustable arms are formed of a disc-shaped end and an elongated rod. The disc-shaped end is a partially folded disc in some embodiments.

A cooking system including a housing assembly provided with lid, which define a plurality of cooking zones and a thermal energy zone. One of the cooking zones is located beneath the thermal energy zone to utilize convection thermal energy transfer and radiant thermal energy transfer during operation of the cooking system. A blower assembly of the cooking system forces a fluid through at least one fluid flow path of the housing assembly and the thermal energy zone, to provide a superheated fluid having a temperature of about 800° F. to about 1200° F. to at least one of the cooking zones.

Example transversely-loadable rotisserie forks are disclosed. An example rotisserie fork includes a first upper prong and a second upper prong spaced apart from the first upper prong. The example rotisserie fork further includes a first lower prong and a second lower prong spaced apart from the first lower prong. A pellet fueled apparatus having a continuous spark ignition system and swing-away warming rack is disclosed. The apparatus may include a power supply controller configured to cause a spark generator to create a continuous spark in a gap space between two electrodes for a duration greater than 2 seconds and up to 20 minutes uninterrupted. The present invention provides a cooking embodiment and method for cooking food through the manipulation of the distance between a food product and a heat source. Also, food temperature auxiliary systems used in conjunction with the aforementioned embodiment and method. The embodiment and method involve continuously measurement of cooking surface's temperature and system's humidity. The embodiment and methods also include optionally using multiple of the same embodiment if cooking more than one type of food is required at the same time. The auxiliary systems relate to build material supply hating and cleaning diagnostics, and monitoring operation of the embodiment.

A barbeque grill scraper and related methods of use that utilize a scraping end formed of a heat-responsive material to remove char and other debris from the grilling surface. The grill scraper includes a conformable scraping edge formed of the heat-responsive material. As the conformable scraping edge is drawn back and forth along the heated grilling surface, a combination of pressure applied by a user as well as the heat of the grill surface results in the formation of individual grooves along the conformable scraping edge, wherein each groove is formed to match an upper profile of the grilling surface. Over time, the grooves fully conform to the upper profile of the grilling surface such that an entire cooking surface can be scraped clean of char and debris.
