A towel holding handle assembly includes a handle bar that can be mounted on a variety of supporting surfaces for use as an operating handle. The handle bar receives two elongate clamping elements within a hollow interior thereof which are accessible through an opening along one side of the handle bar. The clamping elements are biased from a released position in which the first and second clamping elements are spaced apart to receive a portion of a towel inserted therein and a clamped position in which the first and second clamping elements are closer to one to clamp the retain the inserted portion of the towel clamped therein.

Various hanging assemblies are disclosed. The hanging assembly can be configured to hold a bathing accessory, such as a loofa or a bath sponge, to more effectively dry the bathing accessory between uses. The hanging assembly can include a hanging apparatus and an adhesive component configured to adhere the hanging apparatus to a surface, such as a shower wall. The hanging assembly can include a base portion, a hook portion, and an intermediate portion extending between the base portion and the hook portion. The base portion can include a proximal side opposite a distal side. The adhesive component can be applied to the proximal side of the base portion to adhere the hanging apparatus to the surface.

Various hanging assemblies are disclosed. The hanging assembly can be configured to hold a bathing accessory, such as a loofa or a bath sponge, to more effectively dry the bathing accessory between uses. The hanging assembly can include a hanging apparatus and an adhesive component configured to adhere the hanging apparatus to a surface, such as a shower wall. A towel with an integrated retention tab includes a distal end, opposed sides, and a proximal end that is affixed to a towel. The retention tab is formed of a different material than the towel, and is secured to the towel at an attachment area. The retention tab is configured to be positioned over a portion of the towel that is wrapped around a person's body in order to assist with retaining the towel in a wrapped position around the person's body. For increased securing ability, the retention tab may optionally have tapered edges and/or define a gripping pattern. Furthermore, the retention tab may define a through hole to allow the retention tab and the affixed towel to be hung for drying and/or storage purposes.

A clip element secures a towel or other cloth-like item around a person's body. The clip secures a cloth item that is wrapped around a user's body where one end of the cloth is flat against the wearer's skin and the other end of the cloth has been gathered and tucked behind the flat cloth and preventing separation of overlapping and tucked portions of the cloth item. Unlike previous clips where the clip exerts the pressure, the bulk from the cloth and the barrier that is the wearers torso, creates the leverage to hold the towel in place. The flexible bridge allows a user to pull out on the bottom front portion of the clip while catching the back portion of the clip behind the cloth on the wearer's torso to “thread” the cloth up to the top of the clip. Once the cloth knot (created from gathering one end of the towel and tucking it behind the flat part of the towel against the wearer's skin) is at the top rounded portion of the internal clip the cloth is being held by the pressure that is created by the clips fullness.

A towel fastener is provided. The device includes a flexible strap having a first end opposite a second end. A pair of fastener plates is hingedly affixed to a first end of the flexible strap. The pair of fastener plates are movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the pair of fastener plates are parallel when in the closed position. A complementary fastener is disposed on each of the pair of fastener plates, such that the pair of fastener plates are removably securable in the closed position. In one embodiment, a clasp is slidably positioned over the flexible strap and removably secures the flexible strap in a looped configuration about a support surface. In another embodiment, a tongue is disposed on the flexible strap, wherein the tongue slidably secures within a track system. In other embodiments, a towel is integrally affixed to a pair of towel fasteners.

A towel fastener is provided. The device includes a flexible strap having a first end opposite a second end. A pair of fastener plates is hingedly affixed to a first end of the flexible strap. The pair of fastener plates are movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the pair of fastener plates are parallel when in the closed position. A complementary fastener is disposed on each of the pair of fastener plates, such that the pair of fastener plates are removably securable in the closed position. In one embodiment, a clasp is slidably positioned over the flexible strap and removably secures the flexible strap in a looped configuration about a support surface. In another embodiment, a tongue is disposed on the flexible strap, wherein the tongue slidably secures within a track system. In other embodiments, a towel is integrally affixed to a pair of towel fasteners.

A hanger for items of clothing comprises a rigid support member (12) and a hanging portion (14). The 5 hanging portion comprises a plurality of clamping elements (16) which are resiliently movable to receive, hold and release clothing items therebetween and are arranged in a line in side-by-side relationship extending from the rigid support member.
