Bathtub platform insert
A bathtub platform insert is described herein (e.g., a footrest, backrest, or table). For example, a bathtub footrest insert herein allows a bather to adjust the length of the “sitting portion” of the bathtub, by securely inserting the bathtub footrest to establish a customizable distance between a backrest of the bathtub to the footrest, such that a bather of shorter height may comfortably stay above the water while soaking in a bathtub. In one embodiment, an example bathtub platform insert herein may comprise: a support surface; adjustable securing members extending outwardly widthwise from the support surface; and gripping end pieces on each end of the adjustable securing members; wherein the adjustable securing members are adjustable to extend an overall width of the bathtub platform insert between opposing pairs of gripping end pieces to secure the opposing pairs of gripping end pieces against a wall of a bathtub.
Shampoo support apparatus and method for use of same
A shampoo support apparatus and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the shampoo support apparatus, a body is configurable between a reclining configuration and a booster seat configuration. In the reclining configuration, the body provides a neck support and a back support. A support structure that may be placed above the body and may be adjustable is configured to accept and secure a smart device thereat and support the smart device at a smart device working distance from the neck support. In the booster seat configuration, the body folds into a rectangular shape to provide a seat.
Safety device and systems for bath enclosures
Disclosed are systems and devices including handholds that can be added to bath enclosures to improve safety of the user. The handhold can be securely attached to a shower surface or a bath surface. A handle is configured to provide the handhold by allowing a user to grasp thereto. A support substrate is coupled to the handle providing a rigid base. A first adhesive layer couples the support substrate to the shower surface or the bath surface and is configured to support the weight of the system upon mounting the system to the shower surface or the bath surface. A second adhesive layer couples the support substrate to the shower surface or the bath surface and is configured to support the weight of the system and a weight applied by the user after curing.
Bathing chair
A bathing chair is a removable toilet seat having a pair of handles having a plank extending from a first side of the toilet seat suitable to permit a user to slide from the toilet seat across the plank. The bathing chair also has a wall support which may be removably secured to a shower or bath wall. The wall support retains the plank in a horizontal position of a tub or shower area.
INFANT BATHING APPARATUS
One or more embodiments are disclosed for an infant bathing apparatus that fits in any sized bathtub for bathing a newborn, an infant, or a toddler and allows a parent to sit in the bathtub during bath time. The infant bathing apparatus comprises a frame, a sling, one or more straps, and a telescoping stand. The frame is rigid and buoyant to stay afloat on top of the water. The frame includes an opening for the sling to removably connect within the frame. The sling is configured to support the baby within the frame. The one or more straps connect to the frame and may have suction cups that secure the frame to the sides of the bathtub. The telescoping connects to the frame and rests on a bathtub floor. A parent may sit within the bathtub either with the stand attached to the frame or remove the stand from the frame.
MULTI POSITION FOOT REST
An apparatus for use by a seated person includes a pad for each leg, having a base and an end and, in use: a first position exists that has the base is proximal and the end is distal to the seat and the pad extends horizontally from base to end; a second position with the end is proximal to and the base is distal to the seat and the pad extends horizontally from base to end; a third position with the base is proximal and the end is distal to the seat and the end is elevated above the base; a fourth position with the end is proximal to and the base is distal to the seat and the end is elevated above the base, the pads being positioned such that when similarly positioned, the pads are spaced apart in the direction between the ischial bones of the person.
Device for bathing older babies allowing the freedom of appropriate movements
A device for bathing infants aids the development of infants by allowing them freedom of movement appropriate to their stage of development. In one embodiment, a basin has an inclined surface with a drainage hole and a plug. In a second embodiment, a basin has a substantially flat bottom and walls shaped to allow the baby to sit in different positions transversely and longitudinally. Preferably, the bottom of this seated baby basin has feet to raise it off the bottom of the adult shower or bathtub. The basin has a perimeter comprising a flexible wall connected to an upper frame and a lower frame, adapted to allow an infant to sit, bend, kneel, walk, or crawl. Preferably, the tension of the flexible wall such as mesh fabric or the equivalent contributes to the good mechanical behavior of the periphery.
Bath cushion for a child
Bath cushions for a child a disclosed herein. One bath cushion includes a set of perimeter portions including a predefined shape and an integrated center support portion coupled to the set of perimeter portions. The integrated center support portion includes a first non-flat profile and a size and the integrated center support portion is configured to accommodate a child. Another bath cushion includes a set of perimeter portions including a predefined shape and a plurality of removable center support portions coupleable to the set of perimeter portions. The set of perimeter portions includes a center space for coupling one of the plurality of removable center support portions at a time. Further, each center support portion in the plurality of center support portions includes a respective size and a respective first non-flat profile and each center support portion is configured to accommodate a child.
Adjustable Bathing Chair Assembly
An adjustable bathing chair assembly includes a seat that has a slot is integrated into the seat such that that a user's genitals and inner thighs are accessible through the seat. A plurality of hydraulic pistons is each coupled to and extends downwardly from the seat such that each of the hydraulic pistons to support the seat above a floor of the bathtub. Each of the hydraulic pistons has an adjustable length. A pair of hydraulic pumps is each integrated into the seat and each of the hydraulic pumps is in fluid communication with a respective pair of the hydraulic pistons. Each of the hydraulic pumps is actuatable in a lowering condition to raise the seat and each of the hydraulic pumps is actuatable in a lifting condition to lower to the seat.
Easy to clean shower and commode chair
A shower chair that is easy to assemble, relatively lightweight in construction making it easy to lift into and out of a shower, is rust resistant, and is easy to clean and reduces the likelihood of residue buildup thereby minimizing potential health concerns. The chair is formed such that it minimizes ridges and crevices and includes rounded seams that improves the effectiveness of cleaning the surfaces of the chair and includes antimicrobial materials that reduces the growth of bacteria.
