A system and method for cleaning a dish, comprising: illuminating said dish with a light source; capturing an image of said dish with a camera; inspecting said image to determine if said dish is clean; and estimating locations of dirty regions on said dish; spraying a fluid with a first nozzle on said dish with a predetermined spray distribution, wherein said first nozzle can reorient or relocate to spray said fluid on any region of said dish visible in said image; and spraying a fluid with a second nozzle on said dish with a spray distribution having a smaller coverage than that of said first nozzle, wherein said second nozzle is relocated or reoriented such that the fluid reaches said dirty regions at said locations on said dish; whereby dirty regions of said dish are targeted for a fast and efficient cleaning of said dish.

HIGH SPEED REUSABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER WASHING SYSTEM

A beverage container washing system may be used for rapid washing and/or sanitizing of beverage containers, e.g., for use in a retail environment to wash and/or sanitize customer-provided beverage containers prior to filling the beverage containers with purchased beverages, among other applications. Separate entrance and exit openings may be provided in some instances to minimize employee interaction with unwashed customer beverage containers.

Monitoring and control of thermal sanitization in automated cleaning machines

Systems and/or methods for the monitoring and/or control of thermal sanitization in automated cleaning machines are described. A cleaning machine controller may predict a number of heat unit equivalents that will be delivered during a cleaning process based on a sump temperature difference (i.e., a change in the temperature of the cleaning solution in the sump) experienced at or near the beginning of the cleaning process. One or more cleaning process parameters may be adjusted and/or controlled based on the sump temperature difference in order to ensure that a target number of heat unit equivalents are delivered in order to achieve thermal sanitization of the wares subjected to the cleaning process.

Dishwasher and controlling method therefor

A domestic dishwasher includes a wash container which has a loading opening. The loading opening of the wash container can be closed by a door. A suction apparatus is provided to suction steam and/or air, in particular moisture-laden air, escaping from the loading opening. The suction apparatus has at least one inlet window located outside a wet chamber of the wash container.

Household appliance and method for controlling same

The present invention relates to a household appliance and a method for controlling same. The household appliance includes: at least one chamber for accommodating a to-be-processed object and at least one door for closing the chamber; a collection module, at least for collecting a time signal when the door is opened; a controller, connected to the collection module to receive and analyze the time signal generated by the collection module when the door is opened, count a high-frequency time segment when the door is opened in a predetermined time period T1, and generate a control signal for controlling an operation state of a function loading module; and the function loading module, connected to the controller to receive the control signal for controlling operation of the function loading module. Therefore, the present invention provides a household appliance with a new control method.

A method for controlling a dishwasher includes: supplying washing water to a sump; rotating an impeller disposed in a washing pump by a washing motor so that the washing water flows into the washing pump from the sump; operating a heater disposed in the washing pump so as to heat the washing water existing in the washing pump and generate steam to supply to a steam nozzle; and supplying the washing water or steam in the washing pump to the steam nozzle by rotating the impeller at a second set rotational speed lower than a first set rotational speed by the washing motor. The method further includes closing a selector valve, configured to open and close a path between the washing pump and the steam nozzle, when the impeller rotates at the first set rotational speed or higher.
