According to the invention, this is achieved in that the sensor unit (27, 28) comprises at least one pressure sensor (27, 28) for detecting a water/liquid pressure.
Dishwasher comprising a sensor unit for determining a rotation movement of a spray arm
The invention proposes a dishwasher comprising a working chamber, comprising at least one spray arm which is arranged in a rotatable manner in the working chamber, and comprising a metering apparatus for supplying and metering a substance, such as detergent, rinse aid etc., into the working chamber, which metering apparatus is designed as an insert part comprising a housing for insertion into a recess in an inner wall of the working chamber, for example in the door of the working chamber, and comprising a sensor unit for identifying a spray arm movement in the working chamber of the dishwasher, which sensor unit is arranged at least partially in a housing of the metering apparatus, wherein the sensor unit 11 comprises at least one infrared transmitter 12 and/or one infrared receiver 13.
DISHWASHER WITH IMAGE-BASED DIAGNOSTICS
A dishwasher and method utilize an imaging system to perform various diagnostic operations within the dishwasher, including one or more of level sensing, filter cleaning, wash tub rinse down, foam detection, imaging system cleaning, and remote viewing.
DISHWASHER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher and a method of controlling the same. The dishwasher may determine an amount of foam in a wash space using a turbidity sensor measuring a turbidity value of wash water. Additionally, the dishwasher may perform a foam removal operation based on the amount of the foam in the wash space. In this case, the turbidity value measured by the turbidity sensor may be used. The foam removal operation may include a drainage operation, a water supply operation, and a wash operation that are consecutively performed, and may be performed in one or more of a pre-wash course, a main wash course, and a heating and rinsing course.
Domestic dishwasher
A household dishwasher includes a washing container receiving a dishwasher load, a pump pot, and a spray arm for applying washing liquor and/or fresh water to the dishwasher load in the washing container. The spray arm is actively driven by a drive system and mounted on the pump pot for rotation about an axis of rotation. The spray arm has a rib geometry that revolves around the axis of rotation and includes an encoding groove running along the axis of rotation. The pump pot includes an encoding rib running along the axis of rotation and corresponding to the encoding groove. The encoding rib is configured for passage through the encoding groove along the axis of rotation during assembly and disassembly of the spray arm so as to enable the spray arm to be assembled on and disassembled from the pump pot in precisely one angular position.
Targeted dish cleaner
A system and method for cleaning a dish, comprising: illuminating said dish with a light source; capturing an image of said dish with a camera; inspecting said image to determine if said dish is clean; and estimating locations of dirty regions on said dish; spraying a fluid with a first nozzle on said dish with a predetermined spray distribution, wherein said first nozzle can reorient or relocate to spray said fluid on any region of said dish visible in said image; and spraying a fluid with a second nozzle on said dish with a spray distribution having a smaller coverage than that of said first nozzle, wherein said second nozzle is relocated or reoriented such that the fluid reaches said dirty regions at said locations on said dish; whereby dirty regions of said dish are targeted for a fast and efficient cleaning of said dish.
HIGH SPEED REUSABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER WASHING SYSTEM WITH AIR KNIFE CHAMBER FOR SUPPLYING AIR TO A ROTATABLE AIR KNIFE OPENING
A beverage container washing system may be used for rapid washing and/or sanitizing of beverage containers, e.g., for use in a retail environment to wash and/or sanitize customer-provided beverage containers prior to filling the beverage containers with purchased beverages, among other applications. The beverage container washing system may include multiple concentric housing members supported on a base, and an air knife chamber that supply air from a stationary air supply to an air knife opening on a rotatable one of the concentric housing members.
Dishwasher with high-velocity sprayer
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation, the dishwasher comprising a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, a dish rack received within the treating chamber and configured for receiving dishes for treatment during the cycle of operation, a sprayer located within the treating chamber and above the dish rack, and emitting a liquid onto the dish rack to form a high-speed spray.
