A device for receiving a suction hose that connects a nozzle of a vacuuming device to a central unit of the vacuuming device. The device is has at least one holding device that can be arranged on the central unit of the vacuuming device, wherein the suction hose is able to be fitted in the at least one holding device such that the hose can be accommodated in a secure and stable manner. This advantageously makes it possible for the user of the vacuuming device to be able to adapt the length of the suction hose as required to the task currently to be performed. Here, the unused part of the suction hose is stored in a particularly secure and stable manner in the device or in cavities of the device that can be formed between the at least one holding device and a rear part. In a second aspect, the invention relates to a vacuuming device having a central unit that is connected to a suction hose having a nozzle.

The canister includes a base and at least one sidewall extending therefrom. The powerhead includes a suction unit operable to generate airflow through the canister. When an inlet end of the hose is connected to the hose end mount, the inlet end of the hose is connected in fluid communication with the debris intake opening to generate airflow therethrough.

A portable surface cleaning apparatus has a main body and air treatment member assembly is removably mounted to the main body. The air treatment member assembly air outlet and/or the suction motor inlet end is provided at the lower end of the air treatment member assembly when the surface cleaning apparatus is located on a floor and a pre-motor filter underlies the air treatment member assembly and/or the suction motor.

The impeller is driven by the motor, which includes an impeller air outlet and an impeller air inlet. An air channel is formed inside the fan housing, and the impeller is at least partially housed in the fan housing. A portable surface cleaning apparatus has a main body and air treatment member assembly is removably mounted to the main body. The present invention is directed to a vacuum including a dust extraction system. The system includes a filter assembly, an airflow generation assembly, and valve assembly. The airflow generation assembly is configured to draw contaminated air toward the filter assembly and exhaust filtered air as a discharge stream. The filter assembly is configured to remove contaminants from the contaminated airflow by capturing particulate material suspended within the airflow. The valve assembly is configured to selectively direct filtered airflow into the filter assembly such that the filtered air stream cleans the filter.

A hose clip for coupling at least a portion of a suction hose to a support structure of a vacuum cleaning apparatus may include a protrusion and a coupler. The coupler may include a coupler housing having an opening for receiving at least a portion of the protrusion. The opening may transition from an outer surface of the coupler housing into a coupler cavity defined by the coupler housing.
