Integrated container and tube set for fluid delivery with an endoscope
This disclosure relates generally to a container and tube set and methods for fluid delivery, and particularly an integrated container and tube set suitable for use with an endoscope to supply liquids and/or gases to the endoscope. The integrated container and tubes may include a container (e.g., water reservoir) containing a fluid and a gas, and a plurality of tubes integrally formed with the container. The integrated container may include an irrigation supply tube having a first lumen in fluid communication with the fluid, a lens wash supply tube having a second lumen in fluid communication with the fluid, a gas supply tube having a third lumen in operative communication with the gas, and an optional alternative gas supply tube having a fourth lumen in fluid communication with the gas. The lens wash supply tube and the gas supply tube may be formed as a single, multi-lumen tube.
Methods and apparatus for removing material from within a mammalian cavity using an insertable endoscopic instrument
An endoscope for removing tissue at a surgical site includes an elongated tubular body insertable within a mammalian cavity of a patient. An instrument channel extends between a first opening at a distal end and a second opening at a proximal end of the tubular body and is sized and configured to receive a surgical cutting assembly that includes an aspiration channel configured to remove material entering the endoscope via a distal end of the surgical cutting assembly. A torque generation component configured to generate torque is positioned within the distal end and configured to provide the generated torque to a coupling component. The coupling component is positioned at the distal end of the elongated tubular member and configured to actuate a cutting component of the surgical cutting assembly responsive to actuation of the torque generation component.
MEDICAL DEVICES AND RELATED METHODS THEREOF
A medical device comprising a handle, a shaft extending from the handle, and an inflatable module at a distal portion of the shaft, the module including a camera, wherein the shaft includes a body defining a first channel extending between a first end configured to be in fluid communication with a fluid source, and a second end in fluid communication with the module, and wherein inflation of the module alters a viewing angle of the camera relative to an axis of the distal portion of the shaft.
ENDOSCOPE AND METHOD OF USE
Endoscopes and methods of their use, where the endoscopes provide a low profile or cross-section which facilitates introduction through small body passages, such as patient's cervix, and into body cavities, such a patient's uterus.
Hysteroscopy systems and methods for managing patient fluid
A low profile surgical system includes a movable cart assembly, an endoscope, and a surgical instrument. The movable cart assembly includes a fluid source and a receptacle assembly that are in fluid communication with one another. The endoscope is operably coupled to the cart assembly and in fluid communication with the fluid source. The surgical instrument is operably coupled to the cart assembly. The surgical instrument and the endoscope are configured to dispense outflow fluid into the receptacle assembly.
Systems and methods for optimizing and maintaining visualization of a surgical field during the use of surgical scopes
A view optimizing assembly, method and kit for use in combination with a laparoscope having a lens located on the shaft tip of the laparoscope, and a source of insufflation CO.sub.2. The invention includes a multi-lumen sheath assembly, a deflector assembly in fluid communication with the lumens of the sheath assembly, wherein the flow of CO.sub.2 through the lumens forms a vortex when coming into contact with the deflector assembly, thereby preventing fogging of the laparoscope lens.
RAPID EXCHANGE ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
A rapid exchange detachable endoscope includes a transmission system having a shaft with two linear translation nuts mounted on oppositely threaded portions of the shaft so that rotation of the shaft in one direction moves the two linear translation nuts further away from one another and rotation of the shaft in an opposite direction moves the two linear translation nuts closer together to control an insertion tube tip. A control handle can be attached and detached from the transmission system, allowing an insertion tube associated with the transmission system to remain in vivo and allow for exchange of overtubes.
HYBRID APPARATUS FOR FLUID SUPPLY FOR ENDOSCOPIC IRRIGATION AND LENS CLEANING
A hybrid apparatus for delivery of fluid in connection with endoscopic irrigation and lens cleaning including a connector which is adaptable to a flexible or rigid container, a connector arranged at the end thereof and connected via a tubing supply to a fluid, air and or gas source and to an endoscope during a procedure.
Endoscope device and endoscopic detection method
The present invention discloses an endoscope apparatus and an endoscopic method. The endoscope apparatus includes a release source, a tether connected to the release source, an elastic clamp member and a capsule endoscope. The elastic clamp member includes an elastic clamp cavity being interconnected to an air outlet of the release source through the tether. In a clamped state, at least a portion of the capsule endoscope is within the elastic clamp cavity, wherein the elastic clamp member has a tendency to recover from deformation to apply a clamping force to the capsule endoscope. In a released state, the elastic clamp member is expanded by the air pressure from the tether, and the capsule endoscope is released from the elastic clamp cavity.
Endoscope connection tube and endoscope reprocessor
An endoscope connection tube includes a fluid feeding pipeline that has a first end portion connected to a pipe sleeve of an endoscope, and a second end portion connected to a fluid supply source; a seal portion that is provided in the first end portion of the fluid feeding pipeline, includes a close contact surface configured to closely contact the pipe sleeve to surround an opening portion of the pipe sleeve, and is configured to connect an inside of the fluid feeding pipeline and an inside of the opening portion when the close contact surface closely contacts the pipe sleeve; and a detection pipeline that has a first end portion opened in the close contact surface, and is configured to be closed by the pipe sleeve when the close contact surface is in close contact with the pipe sleeve.
