EXTERNAL FIXATOR ASSEMBLY

External fixator assemblies, systems, and methods thereof. An external fixator system may include a plurality of fixator assemblies configured to connect a plurality of pins, for example, positioned on opposite sides of a fractured bone, with one more rods. The fixator assemblies may include a plurality of clamp assemblies that are configured to clamp onto the rods. A distractor/compression instrument is used to adjust the location of a clamp assembly along the length of its rod.

Medical positioning device

The present invention relates to a medical positioning device. In one example, the device comprises comprising a first carriage assembly configured for mounting a first pin, wherein the orientation of the first pin is adjustable by a first spherical joint with three rotational degrees of freedom with an angular range of at least ±10° each, a second carriage assembly configured for mounting a second pin, wherein the orientation of the second pin is adjustable by a second spherical joint with three rotational degrees of freedom with an angular range of at least ±10° each and an extension assembly configured for adjusting a distance between the first pin and the second pin.

Internal pelvic fixator

A system and method for internal pelvic fixation. Guide wires can be inserted through guides and opposing sides of a pelvic bone, and can indicate a depth for driving bone screws into the pelvic bone. Offset rod tools positioned about each guide can assist in determining an offset distance between an implant rod and the pelvic bone. A template rod may be coupled to the offset rod tools and used to select a length for the implant rod. Clamps can be coupled to the bone screws, the clamps having multiple axes of rotation, the angular positions of the clamps being secured by the tightening of a single nut of each clamp. Joysticks used to tighten the nuts can be coupled to a reduction holder mechanism that can decrease at least an axial distance between the clamps, and thus pelvic bones, before locking of the clamps via tightening of the nuts.

External fixation clamp and systems for medical procedures

The present invention relates to an external fixation system including at least one pair of connected clamp units forming at least one clamp. Each of the clamp units includes: a first component comprising a molded metal, the first component having a first exterior surface having a plurality of voids formed therein to define a plurality of interconnected ribs and a first periphery having at least one first pin groove formed therein; and a second component mated to the first component and including a second periphery having at least one second pin groove formed therein, the at least one first pin groove and at least one second pin groove together forming a fixation pin holder. A fixation pin is held in at least one of the fixation pin holders.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL TRACTION AND BONE FIXATION DEVICE

A multifunctional traction and bone fixation device relates to the technical field of medical devices. Two traction clamping plates serve as a base. The front of each of the two traction clamping plates defines a traction nail. The middle portion of the clamping plate is arranged with a positioning and pressurizing screw. The rear end of the clamp plate is arranged with a traction handle screw. The clamping plate is arranged with a plurality of auxiliary fixation pin holders and auxiliary fixation pins. Heads of two traction nails are injected in opposite directions into a lower portion of a fracture site to determine a fixation position. Rear ends of the two traction clamping plates extend along the thigh direction to be weighted-pulled.

ORTHOPEDIC CABLE BONE TRANSPORT DEVICE AND BONE TRANSPORT SYSTEM COMPRISING SAID DEVICE

The present invention relates to a cable pulling device (1) for orthopedic bone transport, comprising: a main body (2); a worm gear mechanism (4) disposed in the main body (2), and a reel (8) set into rotation by the worm gear mechanism (4) and meant to wind up a cable which is secured to a transport bone segment.

Polyaxial pivot housing for external fixation system

A polyaxial pivot housing for an external fixation system, comprising a collet body having a threaded portion; a spherical member configured to be partially received by a cavity that is formed in the collet body, the spherical member having a threaded post that is configured to attach to a support member of an external fixation frame; and a threaded locking collar that is configured to orientationally lock the threaded post with respect to the external fixation frame by compressing the spherical member into the cavity as the threaded locking collar is mated with the threaded portion of the collet body.

DEVICE FOR EXTERNAL ORTHOPEDIC FIXATIONS

A device for external orthopedic fixations, which has one or more frames which have a substantially and/or partially annular shape and are suitable for being arranged around a limb to surround it at least partially, wherein one or more rods are fixed to a frame by means of a locking mechanism is provided. The device has two jaws which, when closed, tighten the locking mechanism to a portion of the frame by exerting a prevalently axial force, wherein the jaws are closed by means of a cam mechanism suitable for being actuated by rotating a lever pivoted to a first jaw and provided with one or more cam surfaces cooperating with a surface of the second jaw.

Lower limb traction device for intramedullary nail implantation operation

A lower limb traction device for intramedullary nail implantation operation includes a chassis with a first end portion and a second end portion opposite to each other; a first slide block slidably provided at a second end portion of the chassis in a longitudinal direction of the chassis; a lower leg support plate having two opposite end portions and two opposite side portions, wherein one end portion is connected to the first slide block; an upper leg back plate having opposite end portions and opposite side portions, wherein one end portion of the upper leg back plate is connected to the second end portion of the chassis, and the other end portion of the upper leg back plate is connected to the other end of the lower leg support plate; and a pulling mechanism provided at the first end portion of the chassis.
