Kyphoplasty system and method
A kyphoplasty system includes various instruments which can be selectively used in a surgical theater (e.g., during a surgical operation on a patient) or a surgical training environment. The kyphoplasty system can include one or more of a kyphoplasty apparatus, a prone table mat, a connector system, a bone introducer needle, and a biopsy device. The kyphoplasty system may also include a training system for use in the training environment.
INJECTION DEVICE SUITABLE FOR INJECTING PARTICLES INTO A BONE CAVITY
An injection device for injecting particles into a bone cavity includes a reservoir, an injection needle having a tubular shape around a main axis and a proximal end fixed to a base of the reservoir and open to the reservoir, and a distal end opposite to the proximal end, a worm screw movable in rotation inside the injection needle and extending at least from the proximal end up to at least the distal end of the injection needle, and an actuator coupled to the worm screw to drive it in rotation.
Graft material injector system and method
A graft material injector device and method are disclosed. The injector device includes an elongated injector tube and a side loading aperture for receiving graft material. A graft material loader and a cover for the side loading aperture may optionally be included.
BONE ANCHOR FOR OPTIMISED CEMENT APPLICATION
A bone anchor for the fixation of bone components and bone fragments, including a shaft, a neck area and a head located in proximal direction and a tip located in distal direction, wherein the bone anchor has a mainly cylindrically shaped hollow chamber extending along the central axis, wherein the hollow chamber is adjacent a transition zone located proximally from a central plane, characterized in that the transition zone at least partially has an inner diameter and the hollow chamber at least partially has an opening diameter, and the opening diameter of the hollow chamber is greater than the inner diameter of the proximal transition zone.
Spinal implant system and method
A bone fastener includes a shaft. The shaft includes a wall that defines a longitudinal cavity and a plurality of openings in communication therewith. The openings are disposed in axial alignment along the shaft and the wall is closed exclusive of the openings. In some embodiments, systems, spinal constructs, surgical instruments and methods are disclosed.
BONE MATERIAL DISPENSING SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE
A bone material dispensing system is provided. The bone material dispensing system comprises a funnel having a proximal portion, the proximal portion comprising a top end and a bottom end, the top end opposite the bottom end, the top end comprising a surface having a protrusion configured to receive a locking member of a bone material dispensing device and the bottom end comprising a connector configured to secure the funnel to the bone material dispensing device. A bone material dispensing system comprises a pusher and a holder is provided. A method of dispensing bone material with the bone material dispensing system is also provided.
BONE MATERIAL DISPENSING SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE
A bone material dispensing system is provided. The bone material dispensing system comprises a loading device having a perimeter surrounding a base plane and a rim, the perimeter comprising a side wall extending along a longitudinal axis and a bar joining the side wall at a corner of the perimeter and extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis, the base plane comprising a loading surface bordered by the side wall along the longitudinal axis, the loading surface having an end edge extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis such that the side wall, the bar and the end edge form a rim adjacent to the loading surface and the bar. A method of loading bone material with the bone material dispensing system is also provided.
Negative pressure guided bone cement injection system
The present invention provides a negative pressure guided bone cement injection system comprising a negative pressure system, comprising a negative pressure introduction device, a pushing system for implant bone cement to the target area, a control system for regulating the negative pressure system and the pushing system, and at least one sensing device disposed at any position of the negative pressure system, which can sense at least one environmental parameter for observing the physiological condition of a patient's spinal vertebral body can be monitored immediately, and the result is actively or passively sent back to the system or the operator for adjusting the injection parameters.
Bone graft delivery system and method for using same
A bone graft delivery system can include an elongate tube, a handle having a trigger, and a tip. The trigger is actuated to deliver bone graft material through the tube. The tip has one or more openings to deliver the bone graft material to a desired location and includes a surface suitable to act as a rasp for decorticating bone. A method for delivering bone graft material to a desired surgical location includes providing a bone graft delivery device, positioning the device adjacent the surgical location, decorticating bone, and delivering bone graft material to the surgical location.
