Vitamin Testing Diaper Device
The present invention relates generally to the field of diapers. More specifically, the present invention relates to a vitamin testing diaper device primarily comprised of a body, further comprised of a pair of leg openings, at least one pad, and at least one testing strip. The testing strip is located on the pad. The testing strip is absorbent and impregnated with a chemical that reacts with urine such that the strip will change in color to indicate the presence of a substance in the urine. The substance may be, but is not limited to, a vitamin.
DEVICE FOR ASSAYING ANALYTES IN BODILY FLUIDS
A device for determining the presence and/or quantity of one or more analytes in a sample of human body fluid has a container for receiving a sample of body fluid, with an interior that is delimited by a base and by a circumferential surface. It further comprises at least one test strip and a holding element for receiving and holding the one or more test strips. The holding element is designed such that it has a shape corresponding and adapted to the peripheral circumferential surface of the container. The device further comprises an elongate sampling element having an absorbent sampler that takes up the sample of body fluid and by means of which the sample of body fluid is transferred into the container. The sampling element can include an indicator strip for determining whether the amount of liquid sample sufficient for carrying out an assay.
VAGINAL INSERT DEVICES AND METHODS
A vaginal insert device and method of use for improving and preventing symptoms associated with pelvic organ prolapse and urinary and/or fecal incontinence, administer medication or topical treatment, and/or collect a sample when the device is inserted, or any combination thereof. The vaginal insert device may be cone-shaped, may have a removal portion, may have external ridges, may have internal ribs, may have an open or closed top, or combinations thereof. The device may include cavities, diagnostic devices, and/or microchips.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING REAGENTS FOR DETECTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS
An absorbent article is worn to receive discharged urine of the wearer. The article includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, an intermediate liquid-absorbent layer, a bottom sheet including at least one indicator and a liquid-impermeable backing layer. Each of the at least one externally visible indicator is coated or impregnated with at least one chemical reagent facing the liquid-absorbent layer. Each of the at least one chemical reagent is configured to undergo a change in color or shade from a plurality of different possible color or shade changes of the reagent upon contact with the discharged urine. Each color or shade is associated with a corresponding level of an analyzed component or with the presence or absence of the analyzed component and the change in color or shade of the at least one chemical reagent is externally visible on the indicator through the bottom sheet and the backing layer.
DEVICE FOR COLLECTING TEST SPECIMEN
The present invention provides a device for collecting a fluid specimen. The device comprises a water-absorbing end part formed by bonding a first porous water-absorbing film and a second porous water-absorbing film. Preferably, the second porous water-absorbing film and the first porous water-absorbing film are sponge films.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR SELF-COLLECTION OF BIOLOGICAL SAMPLES
A universal single-handed device for self-collection of a biological sample is described herein. The single-handed device may comprise a sheath comprising a distal end for insertion into a portion of a user's body, a shaft at least partially within the sheath, having a collection head for collecting the biological sample positioned at the distal end thereof, and an actuator coupled to the shaft to transition the distal end between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The collection head is covered by the distal end in the closed configuration and is exposed when the distal end is in the open configuration.
Indicator panels for incontinence products
The present disclosure is directed to indicating systems and methods for incontinence products. The indicating system may include an indicator panel for an incontinence product that is adapted to provide a qualitative or quantitative indication of a characteristic of a liquid absorbed by the indicator panel.
Detection device
The present invention provides a detection device comprises a testing element and a transparent area, wherein the testing element comprises a detection area which is configured to detect a presence of an analyte in a liquid sample; the transparent area is configured to read the test result on the detection area through the transparent area; a part of the transparent area contacts a part of the detection area, or the detection area and the transparent area are arranged in one sealed space, thus to make the air in the sealed space not exchange with the air outside the sealed space; the scheme can reduce the mist to ensure the test result is displayed clearly.
Urine indication pad with inbuilt diagnostics for training and indication of potential disease
A training pad system for house training of a pet or toilet training of a juvenile human, includes a training pad with one or more diagnostic zones, each comprising one or more diagnostic test areas, optionally a pad cutout that matches a shape of a lower portion of a toilet, a urine indicator composition for visually indicating exposure to urine with a signal color, a liquid absorbing material, an antimicrobial agent, and adhesive surfaces; and a diagnostic decoding chart to interpret diagnostic results by lookup of corresponding test decoding areas.
SAMPLE RECEIVING DEVICE
The present invention generally relates to a sample receiving device for releasably storing a substance. The sample receiving device includes a lid having a reservoir for retaining the substance, and a pierceable barrier sealing the substance within the reservoir; and b) a funnel for receiving a sample and configured for closure by the lid. The funnel is configured for releasable attachment to a sample receptacle such that a sample can be provided to the funnel and travel through the channel in the funnel into the sample receptacle. Further, the funnel includes one or more cutting ribs for cutting the pierceable barrier such that upon cutting of the pierceable barrier the substance is released from the reservoir, flows through the channel in the funnel and into the sample receptacle to be mixed with the sample. The present invention also provides a kit for collecting and storing biomolecules.
