CONTAINER FOR BIOLOGIC SAMPLES AND METHOD FOR THEIR PRESERVATION
A container (1) for biologic samples has a lower receptacle (2), an upper receptacle (3) for a toxic liquid (LF) or considered as such, having a radial ring (63), and a connecting sleeve (4) with a circumferential rim (54) and a transversal septum (40), provided with a central vent opening (55) and with a plurality of transfer openings (51) for the transfer of toxic liquid (LF). The toxic liquid (LF) is sealed between the upper receptacle (3) and the transversal septum (40) before unscrewing the upper receptacle until its radial ring (63) touches the circumferential rim (54). When unscrewing the upper receptacle (3), the toxic liquid (LF) reaches and passes through the plurality of transfer openings (51), and air contained in the lower receptacle (2) flows into the upper receptacle (3) through the central vent opening (55), without any exit of gases and liquids from the container (1).
Double packaging for object intended to remain sterile
A double packaging structure for an object, which may be a sterile object, includes a hollow external container having a closed first end, an open second end and walls, and an internal container disposed inside the external container. The internal container includes a hollow body and a cap. The object is intended to be received in the body. To close its first end, the external container has a membrane capable of deforming when pressure is applied to the membrane. The membrane is configured so that a pressure applied to its outer face, along the longitudinal axis, pushes its inner face against the inner container and causes the inner container to exit at the second end of the external container in the absence of a closure system at the second end.

TAMPER EVIDENT SECURITY LID FOR A MEDICAL CONTAINER
A lid for a medical container including a body portion including a locating element, a tamper evident security connector integrally formed with the body portion, the tamper evident security connector including an anchor portion and a frangible portion. The anchor portion can attach to and be retained by an engagement portion fixed in at least one direction relative to the medical container, thereby positioning the frangible portion between the locating element and engagement portion. The frangible portion is adapted to break on relative movement between the lid and the medical container. The lid can be suitable for use in an autoclave, and can be formed from a material or materials that are capable of withstanding a temperature of at least 140° C.
Disposable cap for an eye imaging apparatus and related methods
Disclosed herein is a disposable cap for an eye imaging apparatus with an optical window and related methods. The disposable cap can comprise an optically transparent window cover, a ridge, a side wall and a locking element. The window cover can comprise a convex back surface to match a concave shape of the optical window. The ridge of the disposable cap can extend distally and radially outward from the window cover and the side wall can extend proximally and radially outwardly from the ridge. The locking element can comprise one or more radially inward projections and one or more radially outward releasing tabs. A disposable packaging shell of the disposable cap also disclosed. Disclosed herein is also a plug-in disposable system comprising the disposable cap and the disposable packaging shell, configured to enable the disposable cap to be attached to and detached from the eye imaging apparatus.

The medical tool kit is capable of providing continuing sterilization to the medical instruments and toots kept inside the medical toot kit after the tool case is opened during its normal use in a medical procedure. Cover For Sterile Field Fluid Systems
Covers for sterile field fluid systems can help maintain a sterile environment in a surgical field. A cover may include a top layer configured to be in contact with and/or connected to a bottom layer or a drape that may be positioned on an outer surface of the fluid system. The bottom layer may be configured to conform to a basin of the fluid system. The top layer may be sized and shaped to cover a cavity of the basin.

A disposable single indication orthopedic trauma surgical kit has no bone plates other than a single bone plate precountoured and sized to match an anatomic shape of a portion of a bone of a patient's extremity. The single bone plate has a plurality of fastener apertures. The surgical kit also has a plurality of fasteners with heads that are dimensioned to mate with the fastener apertures. The surgical kit also has a disposable torque driver adapted to engage the fastener heads. The foregoing components are contained in a sterile sealed container.

In one embodiment, a surgical apparatus for use by a surgeon during a surgical procedure comprises one or more sealed sterilized surgical packs configured to be disposed of after a single or a limited number of surgical procedures, the one or more sealed sterilized surgical packs comprising: a sterile surgical instrument; and a sterile surgical tray comprising a top surface configured to be part of a sterile field of the surgical procedure, the top surface comprising a receiving structure for positioning therein of the sterile surgical instrument, the sterile surgical tray further comprising walls that define a recess sized and configured to receive a reusable non-sterile module, the recess configured to encapsulate the reusable non-sterile module to isolate the reusable non-sterile module from the sterile field of the surgical procedure.
