The patient support deck comprises a fowler section at the head end and a foot section at the foot end. The fowler section is capable of articulating relative to the base. The patient support apparatus further comprises a pediatric support module comprising a seat section disposed between the fowler section and the foot section. The pediatric support module is integrated into the patient support deck and comprises a lid and a body.
STERILISATION CONTAINER FOR RECEIVING STERILE MEDICAL GOODS
A sterilization container for receiving cleaned or sterilized medical goods or medical goods to be cleaned or sterilized. The container includes a sterilization container lower part forming a receiving space for the goods and a sterilization container lid that can be detachably mounted on the sterilization container lower part to seal the receiving space. At least one handle element is located on the sterilization container lower part and can be positioned between a carrying position projecting from the sterilization container lid and a locking position that locks the sterilization container lid to the sterilization container lower part. A receiving region is formed in the sterilization container lid for receiving the handle element in the locking position. The receiving region is a trough like handle recess in the form of a depression projecting into the receiving space with respect to the lid plane for receiving the entire handle element.
Sterile container having a closure system
A medical or surgical sterile container includes a first container part, a second container part, and at least one closure system arranged on the second container part which is pivotable between a closed position, in which the first container part and the second container part are locked to each other by the closure system, and an open position, in which the first container part and the second container part are unlocked. The first container part has an integrally formed edge portion on which the closure system is immediately supported in the closed position, for transferring a closing force of the first container part to the second container part.
CLOSURE MECHANISM WITH LOCKING DEVICE FOR STERILE CONTAINERS, AND STERILE CONTAINER COMPRISING SAME
A sterile container and a closure mechanism for the sterile container. The sterile container includes a container pan and a container lid. The container lid is lockable to the container pan by the closure mechanism. The closure mechanism has a bar element for undercut engagement with an engagement element arranged on the container pan or on the container lid and which forms an undercut. The bar element is positionable in a closed position, in which the bar element is operatively engaged with the engagement element via the undercut, and in a release position, in which the bar element and the engagement element are disengaged. The closure mechanism includes a locking element that is operatively connectable to the bar element and which is integrated into the closure mechanism in such a way that the locking element blocks the closure mechanism when the closed position is reached.
Methods and devices for removing a tissue specimen from a patient
A method for removing a tissue specimen from a patient includes introducing a bag at least partially into a cavity in the body of the patient, the bag comprising an open end and a port, positioning a tissue specimen to be removed from the patient into an interior of the bag by passing the tissue specimen through the open end of the bag, sealing the open end of the bag, removing gas from the interior of the bag through the port while the tissue specimen is contained in the interior of the bag, and entirely withdrawing the bag containing the tissue specimen from the cavity. The bag may include a closure device configured to hermetically seal the open end of the bag, and the port may include a one-way gas valve configured to prevent or retard gas from entering the interior of the bag through the port.
CLOSURE ELEMENT FOR A MEDICAL STERILE CONTAINER, AND STERILE CONTAINER WITH SUCH A CLOSURE ELEMENT
A closure for a medical sterile container having a trough-like first container part and a lid-type second container part includes a closure flap which can be arranged on one of the container parts so as to be able to pivot between a closed position, in which the container parts are interlocked with each other by the closure, and an open position in which the container parts are unlocked. The closure includes a latch element which in the closed position of the closure interlocks the closure flap with the other container part.
Medical circulation detent device, medical instrument and medical sterilization container
The invention relates to a medical circulation detent device, comprising at least one circulation body and a latching element. The at least one circulation body comprising a restricted guide and at least one latching receptacle for the latching element. The latching element is guidable through the restricted guide from an unlatched position to a latched position at a first side of the at least one latching receptacle into the latter, and at a second side of the at least one latching receptacle from the latched position to an unlatched position again. An operative element is coupled to the latching element via a coupling element. A thermal actuating element is operatively connected to the latching element and transferable due to temperature from a first state to a second state and vice versa in order to move the operative element. The invention also relates to a medical sterilization container.
SHARPS MEDICAL ADHERENCE LID
Methods and apparatus for a sharps medical adherence lid. A sharps medical adherence lid includes a housing, and a clasping device, the clasping device configured to removably attach the housing to a medical sharps bin, the housing including an upper latch, a spring loaded hinged door secured by the upper latch, a slide adapted to capture an object passing through the spring loaded hinged door, a lower opening configured to receive the object from the slide and enable it to pass in the medical sharps bin.
Storage system for medical instruments
A receiving sleeve of a tool set includes a hollow body having an end face with an insertion opening for inserting a tool. The hollow body defines a longitudinal central axis and includes a plurality of inner clamping elements spaced apart in a circumferential direction. The clamping elements have punctiform or linear engagement sections at their free, radially inward protruding end portions. The engagement sections make force-fit and/or form-fit contact with the tool for holding the tool within the receiving sleeve at a radial distance from the hollow body. An inner side of the hollow body has circumferentially spaced rigid protrusions that extend axially in rib-like fashion. The inner clamping elements radially protrude further toward the longitudinal central axis of the hollow body than the rigid protrusions.
