Systems and methods for magnetic resonance imaging of infants
According to some aspects, a system configured to facilitate imaging an infant using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device is provided herein. The system comprises an infant-carrying apparatus comprising an infant support configured to support the infant and an isolette for positioning the infant relative to the MRI device, the isolette comprising: a base for supporting the infant-carrying apparatus; and a bottom surface configured to be coupled to the MRI device. In some embodiments, the infant-carrying apparatus further comprises at least one radio frequency (RF) coil coupled to the infant support and configured to be coupled to the MRI device to detect MR signals during imaging performed by the MRI device. A method for positioning an infant relative to an MRI device using an infant-carrying apparatus and isolette is further provided herein.
BABY SLEEP MONITOR
A sleep monitor for monitoring baby sleep uses sleep state classification based on heartbeat feature respiration features. The sleep monitor automatically retrains the classification during use of the sleep monitor. Training examples for use in this training process are generated automatically by detecting time instants whereat the baby in the bed is in a wake state, based on signals from the at least one of a sound feature detector a movement feature detector (112) and an open eye detector (114). The retraining may comprise using time sequence from the end of detection of wake states to assign a class to heartbeat feature and/or respiration feature values during that time sequence for the training process. In an embodiment, the retraining comprises clustering detected heartbeat feature and/or respiration feature values detected outside the detected wake states.
DIAPERS WITH URINE DETECTION FUNCTIONALITY AND METHODS FOR DETECTING TRACE ELEMENTS
A diaper with urine detection functionalities is provided. The diaper includes a urine isolation layer, an absorbent core layer, and an outer layer. A urine detection device is disposed between the urine isolation layer and the absorbent core layer. The isolation layer has an open end that is embedded in a sleeve of the absorbent core layer. The urine detection device comprises a detection circuit and a test paper composite. The test paper composite includes: a trace element test paper, an antibiotic test paper, and a urine routine test paper. Each test paper is made up of a plurality of test strips for detecting different elements. Each test strip produces results according to a different color indicator scheme.

A diaper, having urine detection functionalities, comprises a urine isolation layer, an absorbent core layer and an outer layer. The urine detection device comprises a detection circuit and a test paper composite. The test paper composite includes: a trace element test paper, an antibiotic test paper and a urine routine test paper. Each test paper is made up of test strips for detecting different elements. Each test strip produces results according to a different color indicator scheme. A personal wearable headband having far infrared and temperature measurement functions includes a headband body defining a headband receiving space and having a plurality of far infrared particles blended in the headband body, a window communicating with the headband receiving space, and a through hole communicating with the headband receiving space and opposite to the window. A temperature measuring unit is disposed in the headband receiving space and includes a temperature measuring element configured to contact the forehead of a user for detecting a temperature thereof, and a display screen corresponding in position to the window and configured to display the temperature detected by the temperature measuring element.

A self-adaptive multi-scale respiratory monitoring method based on a camera, relates to the technical field of video image signal identification processing, in order to solve the defect that the local optimal respiratory signal and the global optimal respiratory signal cannot be acquired by single image scale, a method was provided: (1) acquiring a respiratory monitoring object in real time;(2) performing multi-scale regular pre-segmentation on a video image, performing local respiratory signal identification and extraction on each unit area pre-segmented under each scale respectively, and defining the unit area with local respiratory signal output as a target area; and (3) comparing local respiratory signals extracted from the target area pre-segmented under each scale, determining an optimal segmentation scale, and taking a local respiratory signal extracted from the target area under the optimal segmentation scale as a monitoring respiratory signal output. The reliability is improved, and intelligent monitoring is realized.

A robot according to the present disclosure comprises: a microphone; a camera disposed to face a predetermined direction; and a processor configured to: inactivate driving of the camera and activate driving of the microphone, if a driving mode of the robot is set to a user monitoring mode; acquire a sound signal through the microphone; activate the driving of the camera based on an event estimated from the acquired sound signal; confirm the event from the image acquired through the camera; and control at least one constituent included in the robot to perform an operation based on the confirmed event.
