The processor may be configured to: identify a request for measuring a skin condition of a user in a state in which the first electronic device is cradled on a second electronic device; acquire, based on information of the camera module and information regarding at least one light-emitting element included in the second electronic device, control information for controlling output of the at least one light-emitting element; control output of light from the at least one light-emitting element of the second electronic device based on the control information; acquire at least one image including at least a part of a body of the user through the camera module while light is output through the at least one light-emitting element controlled based on the control information; and provide information regarding the skin condition of the user using the at least one image.
Systems and methods for detecting data acquisition conditions using color-based penalties
Systems and methods for detecting data acquisition conditions using color-based penalties can include a computing device obtaining a sequence of images acquired by a photodetector. The computing device can determine, for each pixel position of a plurality of pixel positions associated with the sequence of images, a respective penalty score indicative of a similarity between a color value of a pixel of the pixel position and a desired color value. The desired color value can represent a color property of light emitted from body parts of users when placed opposite to the photodetector. The computing device can determine, using penalty scores of the plurality of pixel positions, a relative position of a body part of a user with respect to a desired position.
Systems and methods for blood pressure estimation using smart offset calibration
Systems and methods for blood pressure estimation using smart offset calibration can include a computing device associating a calibration photoplethysmographic (PPG) signal generated from a first sequence of image frames obtained from a photodetector of the computing device with one or more measurement values generated by a blood pressure measurement device different from the computing device. The computing device can obtain a recording PPG signal generated from a second sequence of image frames obtained from the photodetector, and identify a calibration model from a plurality of blood pressure calibration models based on the calibration PPG signal and the recording PPG signal. The computing device can generate a calibrated blood pressure value using the recording PPG signal, features associated with the calibration PPG signal and the identified calibration model.
UPPER GASTROINTESTINAL BLEEDING MONITORING SYSTEM
An upper gastrointestinal bleeding monitoring system includes a detection device and a signal processing device to determine bleeding condition of an upper gastrointestinal tract by using relation of time and intensity ratios of RGB three primary colors. The detecting device is placed to the upper gastrointestinal tract of a patient via his/her mouth or nasal passage and then stay the upper gastrointestinal tract for several days for detection of bleeding. The signal processing device may receive and display signal from the detection device to help medical professionals check if bleeding occurs in an upper gastrointestinal tract. Moreover, a procedure of determination of bleeding in an upper gastrointestinal tract with the upper gastrointestinal bleeding monitoring system is described.
SENSOR ENABLED WOUND THERAPY DRESSINGS AND SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTING CYBERSECURITY
In some embodiments, a wound monitoring and/or therapy apparatus includes a wound dressing configured to be positioned in contact with a wound, the wound dressing comprising one or more sensors configured to obtain measurement data of at least one of the wound or periwound. The apparatus can also include a controller configured to maintain a device clock indicative of a non-real time clock, receive measurement data obtained by the one or more sensors, and transmit measurement data to a remote computing device according to a security protocol, the security protocol comprising including the device clock associated with the measurement data in the transmission.
IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD
An object of the invention is to provide an image display system and the like useful for a remote diagnosis and treatment using color information such as a skin color and a tongue color of a patient. There is provided an image display system including: a color chart including a plurality of patches that include at least three patches selected from a group consisting of first to seventh patches having specific colors; an imaging device configured to simultaneously image the color chart and a person to be imaged and acquire image data; and a display device configured to receive the image data and display the image data as an image on a display unit.
MEDICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM, CHARGE CALCULATING DEVICE, AND CHARGE CALCULATING METHOD
Costs for a system change are inhibited. A medical information system according to an embodiment includes: a first medical device (101A) that acquires a medical image during surgery; an edge server (300) that processes the medical image acquired by the first medical device; and a second medical device (101B) that displays the medical image that has been processed by the edge server. The edge server includes: a framework (301) including one or more applications that process the medical image; and a charge calculator (303) that calculates a charge in accordance with a situation of use of the one or more applications for the medical image.
Large Vessel Occlusion Alert from Optical Measurements
A first optical measurement of tissue with a first optical device is initiated. The first optical measurement includes a first shallow optical reading and a first deeper optical reading. A second optical measurement of the tissue with a second optical device spaced is initiated. The second optical device is spaced apart from the first optical device. The second optical measurement includes a second shallow optical reading and a second deeper optical reading. A first difference value between the first shallow optical reading and the first deeper optical reading is determined. A second difference value between the second shallow optical reading and the second deeper optical reading is determined. A large vessel occlusion (LVO) alert is generated when a ratio of the first difference value to the second difference value is larger than a threshold value.
