The functional portion, the connection portion, and the wiring portion are formed by a wiring layer having first and second main surfaces that oppose each other, a first insulating layer arranged on the first main surface and a second insulating layer arranged on the second main surface. Moreover, in the functional portion, a thickness of the first insulating layer is smaller than a thickness of the second insulating layer.
ORAL BODY DEVICE
An oral body device is provided for attaching to and detaching from an oral appliance that has an electrical connection portion. The device includes a body, and an attachment/detachment operation unit that has an electrical connection conductor and is configured to detachably attach the oral appliance to the body portion by operating application and release of force to the oral appliance. Moreover, the attachment/detachment operation unit fixedly attaches the oral appliance in a state in which the electrical connection portion is electrically connected to the electrical connection conductor by applying a force to the oral appliance, and releases the fixation by releasing the force applied to the oral appliance to detach the oral appliance.
CHEWING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
Provided are chewing information storage means that stores information about chewing quality, muscle activity obtaining means that obtains a muscle activity signal of masticatory muscle of a person, analysis means that frequency-analyzes the muscle activity signal obtained by the muscle activity obtaining means, and analyzes chewing behavior based on the frequency-analyzed muscle activity signal, quality determination means determines quality of the chewing behavior based on information of the chewing behavior analyzed by the analysis means, and extraction means that extracts assistance information corresponding to the chewing quality determined by the quality determination means, from chewing information storage means.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING SLEEP APNEA
Intraoral appliances are disclosed that provide electrical stimulation to tissue in a patient's oral cavity in a manner that reduces apnea events during sleep. A representative appliance can induce a current or currents through tissue and/or anatomical structures in a manner that maintains upper airway tone and/or patency.
MOUTH GUARD
The present invention relates to a mouth guard having a new structure that protects a user's teeth more effectively, enables a user to feel food texture more effectively when masticating food, and is more firmly fixed to the teeth. The mouth guard according to the present invention comprises a plurality of fixing members 10 made of a hard material and coupled to the teeth 1 to support the teeth 1 and a connecting member 20 made of a synthetic resin material that is softer than the hard material of the fixing member 10 and provided between the fixing members 10 to interconnect the fixing members 10. Since the fixing member 10 is connected to the connection member 20 to be mutually movable by the connection member 20 in a state of being coupled to the user's teeth 1, the mouth guard can effectively protect the user's teeth 1 and can effectively deliver food texture to the teeth 1 when the user chews food. In particular, the mouth guard according to the present invention can prevent sugar and acid generated by a combination of food and saliva from contacting the teeth when eating food, and effectively prevent food debris from being caught between the teeth or between the teeth and gums, thereby preventing various dental diseases such as tooth decay.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING OCCLUSAL LOADING BASED ON SIMULATED HUMAN INGESTION ACTIONS
A system for generating occlusal loading is provided, including a loading appliance and a controller. The loading appliance includes three load transmission elements and three actuators. The load transmission elements are adapted to be positioned between upper and lower anterior teeth of the patient and between upper and lower posterior teeth on the left and right sides of the patient's mouth, respectively. The load transmission elements are separated from each other. The actuators are coupled to the load transmission elements, respectively. The controller is configured to control the three actuators to actuate the three load transmission elements individually and sequentially, with a rest period between successive actions of the three load transmission elements, to transmit vibration energy from the three actuators to the patient's periodontal tissues of the anterior teeth, the left posterior teeth, and the right posterior teeth.
Eating monitoring method, program, and eating monitoring device
The present invention provides an eating monitoring method for judging whether chewing is performed or not by a chewing judgment algorithm on the basis of a temporal variation in a measured value of a sensor unit configured to detect a movement of a jaw while a person takes a meal, the person wearing a detection device comprising the sensor unit. The method includes the steps of: adjusting the chewing judgment algorithm on the basis of a variation in a measured value of the sensor unit, the variation corresponding to a chewing action or a mouth opening/closing action of the person wearing the detection device; and judging whether chewing is performed or not by the chewing judgment algorithm which has been adjusted, and measuring the number of chews on the basis of a temporal variation in a measured value of the sensor unit during the meal.
Devices and method for bruxism management
A dental appliance including a dielectric substrate with one or more electric areas having one or more integrated circuits, one or more electric lines, and optionally one or more shielding lines. The dental appliance further includes one or more ground areas including one or more ground pads, one or more sensing areas including one or more sensing pads, and optionally one or more shielding pads. The dental appliance is configured to monitor dental contact, dental forces, and/or for detecting teeth clenching and/or grinding.
Learning model-generating apparatus, method, and program for assessing favored chewing side as well as determination device, method, and program for determining favored chewing side
A reliable technology for determining the masticatory side of the user is provided. First and second electromyographic waveforms respectively originating from left and right muscles related to masticatory actions of a user are acquired; a coefficient of correlation between pieces of information respectively extracted from the first and the second electromyographic waveforms is calculated as a first feature value; a second feature value is calculated from a power spectrum obtained by performing frequency analysis on the first electromyographic waveform; a third feature value is calculated from a power spectrum obtained by performing frequency analysis on the second electromyographic waveform; a learning model is generated by associating the first, second, and third feature values with a plurality of labels; and the masticatory side of the user is determined based on first, second, and third feature values calculated from a newly acquired electromyographic waveform and the learning model.
JAW MOVEMENT ANALYSIS SYSTEM
A jaw movement analysis system includes circuitry that is configured to acquire chewing information including time-series information that represents a jaw movement of a user chewing a bite of food, and to determine an attribute of the food having been chewed by the user based on the chewing information acquired and based on an analysis model. The analysis model is generated by machine learning based on training data including first information that includes time-series information indicating a past jaw movement during a chewing of a bite of food, and second information that indicates an attribute of the food chewed during the past jaw movement associated with the first information.
