ARTIFICIAL TOOTH ELEMENT
An artificial tooth element which is insertable into a cavity of a prosthesis base and has an outer part and an inner part. The outer part is the part of the artificial tooth element which is visible in the inserted state. Consequently, the inner part is the part of the artificial tooth element which is not visible in the inserted state. The inner part has a surface which has, at least partially, in particular completely, a defined surface roughness.
Denture base and dental prosthesis
The invention relates to a denture base having a plurality of tooth socket compartments where one or more of the tooth socket compartments comprises a convex surface configured in step-like structure, and one or more prominences on the step-like structure. The invention further relates to a dental prosthesis including the denture base, at least one bonding agent, and a plurality of artificial teeth. Artificial teeth are bonded within tooth socket compartments such that each artificial tooth can rest upon the top of each prominence in the tooth socket compartment, maintaining a predetermined amount of bonding agent between the artificial tooth and the denture base. The denture base and dental prosthesis of the invention can better address the need for easier, more efficient and reliable set-up of artificial teeth in a denture base, and ensuring more consistent and predictable bonding of artificial teeth in a denture base.
PROSTHETIC TOOTH
A prosthetic tooth for a denture comprises a lingual or palatal surface, an opposing vestibular surface, opposing proximal surfaces, an incisal or occlusal surface and an opposing apical surface, wherein a pocket or slot is defined in the apical surface. The pocket or slot makes it easier to determine whether the tooth is positioned correctly when the tooth is aligned with a denture plate and assists with determining whether the tooth has twisted or tilted.
Method for producing denture with high accuracy of fitting of artificial tooth to socket
A method for manufacturing a denture includes: preparing an artificial tooth and a denture base with a concave socket; applying an adhesive to the concave socket; and embedding the artificial tooth in the concave socket to which the adhesive is applied. A socket groove is defined on an inner surface defining the concave socket. The socket groove extends from a concave bottom surface of the concave socket facing a basal surface of the artificial tooth to a lingual concave side surface of the concave socket. Embedding the artificial tooth in the concave socket includes: forming a discharge hole to discharge the adhesive, the discharge hole being defined at an end of the socket groove on a lingual outer surface of the denture base; and discharging the adhesive from the discharge hole.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING DENTURE WITH HIGH ACCURACY OF FITTING OF ARTIFICIAL TOOTH TO SOCKET
A method for manufacturing a denture according to comprises: preparing an artificial tooth and a denture base provided with a concave socket in which the artificial tooth is embedded; applying an adhesive to the socket; and embedding the artificial tooth in the socket to which the adhesive is applied, wherein one or more grooves are provided on at least one of a surface of the artificial tooth on the side embedded in the socket and an inner surface defining the socket, wherein the one or more grooves include a groove extending to the lingual side, and wherein the embedding the artificial tooth in the socket includes: forming a discharge hole exposing an end side of the groove extending to the lingual side from the denture base to discharge the adhesive; and discharging the adhesive from the discharge hole.
REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURE
The invention relates to an assembly set for a removable partial denture comprising one or more replacement teeth as well as a framework with one or more retention sections. Each of the retention sections is configured to receive and retain one or more of the replacement teeth. Each of the replacement teeth comprises a bottom face with a surface structure configured to engage an assigned complementary retention structure provided by one of the retention sections of the framework configured to receive the respective replacement tooth. Each surface structure provides in combination with the assigned complementary retention structure a non-destructive detachable direct connection between the replacement tooth comprising the respective surface structure and the retention section comprising the respective assigned complementary retention structure.
Denture as well as method of producing a denture
The invention relates to a denture, made of teeth, in particular prefabricated teeth, and of a denture base made of a gingival material, comprising cavities for teeth in which cavities for the teeth are mounted, in particular attached by bonding, characterized in that the denture base (12) is produced by a CAD/CAM process forming the cavities (20) for the teeth (14), and in that cervical areas (40a) of the teeth (14) extending through the basal surface (16, 18) of the denture base (12) are removed, in particular abraded or milled.
System for the Construction of a Dental Prosthesis
Method and system for the construction of a total dental prosthesis, wherein the shapes of the upper and lower jaw bases taken in the plastic material are digitized and stored as a digital prosthesis model in a data-processing device, and the upper and lower jaw prosthesis bases are produced from dental materials according to the digital prosthesis model by ablative or constructive methods.
DENTURE BITE RIM SYSTEM WITH REPLICA TEETH
A bite rim system includes a plurality of dental bite rims having a shape and size that is suitable for use in a human mouth. A plurality of anatomically correct replica teeth are provided that include various tooth characteristics of different shapes, thicknesses, sizes and colors. A series of replica teeth are removably pre-mounted onto one or more of the bite rims in an anatomically correct pattern. The system also includes one or more replica teeth strips having a front facing surface with the image of one or more teeth imprinted thereon, and a back facing surface that is coated with an adhesive material for mating with one of the dental bite rims.
