REMOVABLE DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAID REMOVABLE DENTAL PROSTHESIS
20180008385 · 2018-01-11 · ·

Method of fabricating a dental prosthesis (1), intended to fill an area of a first jaw, the first jaw being an identical reproduction of at least one part of an edentulous jaw (4) of an individual, the area being capable of receiving at least one tooth (3), the first jaw incorporating a protruding element (11), the method comprising: a first step of depositing the first portion (5) of a material on the area of the first jaw, in such a way that the first portion of deposited material can be hooked to the projecting element, the material being capable of preserving its shape after deposit; a step of attaching the tooth to the first portion of the deposited material.

COMPOSITE, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADDING AESTHETIC FEATURES TO A DENTURE BASE
20230233296 · 2023-07-27 ·

A composite, three-dimensionally stable facing material for adding aesthetic features to a denture base. The composite may be a flexible, flat strip of material capable of being molded to gingival surfaces of the denture base and retained on the denture base. The strip is capable of being trimmed and then cured to a hardened state. Fibers and/or other characterization may be added for increasing realism of the denture gingival surfaces.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DENTAL CROWN RESTORATIONS USING PREFABRICATED SLEEVE-CROWN PAIRS

A dental restoration device includes a sleeve having an exterior surface and an interior pocket that is at least partially filled with a dental cement, and a crown having an exterior surface and an interior surface that is mated to the exterior surface of the crown and bonded thereto by an adhesive disposed between the exterior surface of the sleeve and the interior surface of the crown.

A method of creating a reinforced dental prosthesis is provided that can include providing a three-dimensional (3D) printed dental prosthesis, and applying a coating solution to at least a portion of an outer surface of the 3D printed dental prosthesis. The coating solution can include a polymerizable resin and filler particles distributed within the polymerizable resin. The method can include curing the coating solution on the 3D printed dental prosthesis to create the reinforced dental prosthesis.

Dental prosthesis blank

A dental prosthesis is provided, manufactured from a monobloc or multibloc prosthesis blank (10), which is composed of a gum-colored material (14) and a tooth-colored material (12), which materials (12, 14) are bonded to each other by bonding, polymerization and/or one-piece manufacture. The boundary surface (16) between the materials is wave-shaped comprising alternating grooves (22) and ribs (24) in the course of the dental arch, and radial in an oral-vestibular direction in the region of the anterior teeth (33) to be created. The boundary surface (16), at least in the region of the molars (26)—again as viewed in the oral vestibular direction—has parallel grooves (22) and ribs (24) forming troughs and crests of the waveform, or grooves (22) and ribs (24) such that they extend in deviation from parallel by at most 10 degrees, in particular at most 5 degrees, at least in the region of the molars (26).

ARTIFICIAL TOOTH ELEMENT

An artificial tooth element which is insertable into a cavity of a prosthesis base and has an outer part and an inner part. The outer part is the part of the artificial tooth element which is visible in the inserted state. Consequently, the inner part is the part of the artificial tooth element which is not visible in the inserted state. The inner part has a surface which has, at least partially, in particular completely, a defined surface roughness.

Adhesive having a long processing time and stable viscosity
11591500 · 2023-02-28 · ·

A polymerizable adhesive composition containing an olefinically functionalized carbohydrate, a polymerizable liquid monomer, and optionally at least one polymerization initiator or initiator system is described. The adhesive composition is particularly well suited for adhering plastic components as well as is preferably provided with sufficiently long processing time for adhering artificial teeth on denture bases. The viscosity of the adhesive composition may be adjusted to the respected processing conditions.

Partial connection full arch artificial tooth having adjustability of dental arch and occlusion curvature

A partial connection full arch artificial connects and fixes in an appropriate occlusal relationship in advance and appropriately defines a region that should be separated and a region that may be standardized, appropriately defines a combination of regions of adjacent surfaces constituting a contact region, an angle of the denture with respect to the virtual occlusal plane, and an area thereof in a region where artificial teeth are brought into contact with each other.
