SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF SECURING ARTIFICIAL TEETH TO A DENTAL PROSTHETIC BASE WITH GRADIENT POLYMERS
Systems and methods for securing artificial teeth to a dental prosthetic base with a gradient polymer are disclosed herein. An example system includes one or more processors and a memory communicatively coupled with a 3D printing device and the one or more processors. The memory stores a set of instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: generate a print file representative of a polymeric dental prosthesis, the print file including (i) a first material, (ii) a second material that does not chemically bond with the first material, and (iii) a gradient transition zone bonding the first material to the second material that is a gradient polymer of the first material and the second material; and print, via the 3D printing device, the polymeric dental prosthesis based on the print file.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DENTAL OBJECT
The present invention relates to a method of producing a dental object (100), comprising the step of producing a support structure (101) on the dental object (100) having a predetermined breaking point (103) arranged such that a residual portion (105) of the support structure (101) remains on the dental object (100) after the predetermined breaking point (103) is separated.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DENTAL PROSTHESIS
The invention relates to a method for producing a dental prosthesis from a prosthesis base and a plurality of prosthesis teeth, characterized by the following chronological steps: providing the prosthesis teeth and the prosthesis base, wherein the prosthesis base comprises a plurality of tooth sockets for locating the basal surfaces of the prosthesis teeth; applying a plastically deformable connecting means onto the tooth sockets and/or basally onto the prosthesis teeth; locating the prosthesis teeth into the tooth sockets of the prosthesis base and in this situation connecting with the aid of connecting means to the prosthesis base in such a way that the prosthesis teeth, after locating in the tooth sockets, are movable in relation to the prosthesis base, wherein the position and the alignment of the prosthesis teeth to the prosthesis base remain retained if no external force effect is exerted onto the prosthesis teeth; changing the position and/or the alignment of at least one prosthesis tooth in the prosthesis base; and hardening the plastically deformable connecting means, and securely connecting the prosthesis teeth in this situation to the prosthesis base, wherein the position and the alignment of the prosthesis teeth in relation to the prosthesis base are retained.
The invention also relates to a dental prosthesis produced by such a method, and a set for carrying out such a method.
BONDING AUXILIARY DEVICE FOR ARTIFICIAL TEETH
The invention relates to a bonding auxiliary device (100) for arranging, aligning and fixing a plurality of artificial teeth (210) to be bonded into an artificial gingiva (220) of a dental prosthesis (200), the bonding auxiliary device (100) comprising: an occlusion device (110) for arranging and aligning the teeth (210) relative to one another, a support device (120) for supporting a prosthetic body (221) of the first dental prosthesis (200) comprising the gingiva (220), and a clamping element (140) for fixing the teeth (210), which are arranged and aligned by means of the occlusion device (110), in the gingiva (220) supported by the support device (120).
Reference member for determining a position of an implant analog
A reference member for determining a position of an implant analog can comprise a trapezoidal body including a first side and a substantially parallel second side. The first side can define a first dimension and the second side can define a second dimension that is greater than the first dimension.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DENTURE
There is disclosed a method for manufacturing a denture comprising an artificial gingiva surface, a seating surface facing at least a part of the gingiva surface when placed in the mouth of a patient, at least one tooth receiving hole provided in the artificial gingiva surface and extending through to the seating surface and an artificial tooth arranged in the tooth receiving hole, The method comprises printing an intermediate denture base comprising the artificial gingiva surface, the at least one tooth receiving hole for receiving the artificial tooth, arranging the artificial tooth in the at least one tooth receiving hole, fixing the intermediate denture base in a milling machine, and milling the denture comprising providing the seating surface by removing at least a part of the tooth extending through the tooth receiving hole. This provides an improved manufacturing process of denture.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF FORMING DENTURES
A method of forming a denture is provided. The method includes the steps of: creating a digital data recording of an oral cavity of a patient; merging the digital data recording with additional digital data depicting a gingiva portion of either an upper or a lower denture via a software running on a computer. The gingiva portion includes plurality of tooth sockets and at least one of a male and a female connector disposed therein. The method further includes the step of constructing a first denture portion by a 3D printer. The first denture portion resembles the gingiva portion of the merged digital data.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE RELATIVE POSITIONS OF AN UPPER AND LOWER JAW
A device for determining the relative positions of an upper and lower jaw has an upper carrier with an upper contact surface for the upper jaw and a lower carrier with a lower contact surface for the lower jaw, wherein the carriers in a position of use correspond to the device with an upper jaw and a lower jaw. In addition, the device has a system for detecting the relative spatial positions of the upper and lower carriers with respect to one another.
ANGLE ADJUSTMENT STAGE DEVICE FOR DENTAL TECHNIQUE
A base shaft 4 with a built-in magnet is rotatably projected on a base 1. A rocking body 7 has a square substrate 8, a sphere 9, a sphere holder 10 rotatable around an axis which extends through the center of the substrate and perpendicular to the substrate, and a stopper for fixing the sphere holder at a desired rotational position. The sphere holder holds the sphere in such a way that the sphere is fixed at a desired rotational position. A stage is attached to the sphere through a support rod 20. A lower portion of the sphere protrudes downward from the sphere holder and substrate. The rocking body is magnetically coupled to the base shaft at a lower end of the sphere. An elevating body 21 is fitted on the base shaft and fixed by a set collar 22 at a desired height. The elevating body has a recess for receiving the lower portion of the sphere. The rocking body takes a horizontal position when the elevating body is brought into contact with the substrate of the rocking body, but takes a tilt position when a side of the substrate is brought into contact with an upper surface of the elevating body after the elevating body is lowered. An angle display mechanism 23 displays a tilt angle at the tilt position of the rocking body depending on the height of the elevating body.
