DOCKING AND CHARGING STATION AND FILLING OPERATION FOR A HAND-HELD ORAL CLEANING DEVICE
A docking and charging station (100) for use in conjunction with a hand-held fluid droplet appliance (10) for dental cleaning, the docking and charging station (100) comprising a charging base (102) for recharging the hand-held fluid droplet appliance, a reservoir (110) for holding a larger amount of liquid (112) than can be held in a chamber of the hand-held fluid droplet appliance, and a docking refilling alignment mechanism for properly aligning and securing the hand-held fluid droplet appliance in the cradle (160) of the docking and charging station when the hand-held fluid droplet appliance is mounted into the docking and charging station to prevent spillage, leaking or non-refilling of the appliance from the reservoir if there is not proper alignment.
Water flosser
The present disclosure discloses a water flosser comprises a housing, a tooth irrigation portion, a water nozzle portion, a winding mechanism, and a water pipe configured to be bent and wound. The tooth irrigation portion is disposed in the housing and comprises a water inlet and a water outlet. The water nozzle portion is in communication with the water outlet of the tooth irrigation portion.
Portable oral irrigator
A portable oral irrigator includes a nozzle, a handle, an outer water container and an inner water container. The nozzle is at an upper end of the portable oral irrigator. The handle is below the nozzle. The outer water container is below the handle. The inner water container is below the outer water container. A sealing ring is at a bottom of the inner water container for sealing the inner water container. An annular silicone sealing member is at a joining portion of the outer water container and the inner water container. A gasket is between the outer water container and the handle. An air passable silicone seal is on the gasket. With provision of the air passable silicone seal, a raised bottom of the air passable silicone seal contracts to close its cross-shaped opening due to water pressure in the outer water container, thereby preventing leakage.
AUTOMATIC FILLING MECHANISM AND METHOD FOR A HAND-HELD ORAL CLEANING DEVICE
An automatic filling mechanism for use in conjunction with a hand-held fluid droplet appliance (10) for dental cleaning, the automatic filling mechanism having a door (42) to a chamber (40) in the hand held fluid droplet appliance (10) for holding fluid, the door having a female liquid inlet port (44) and a female liquid and air exit interface (46) having a snorkel system (80) attached thereto that is inserted into the chamber (40) that is used to fill the chamber (40) with fluid (112) from a reservoir (110) on a docking and charging station (100) when the hand held fluid droplet appliance (10) is inserted into a cradle (160) on the docking and charging station (100).
ORAL IRRIGATOR
The present disclosure relates to an oral irrigator including: a storage unit configured to store water; a pumping unit configured to pump water of the storage unit; a nozzle unit configured to inject the water pressurized by the pumping unit into an oral cavity; and a controller configured to control of the pumping unit, wherein the controller is configured to store a pattern in which an initial stage of gradually increasing load of the pumping unit, a preliminary cleaning stage of maintaining an injection pressure at a first pressure , a full-scale cleaning stage of maintaining the injection pressure higher than the first pressure and a final cleaning stage of maintaining the injection pressure at a third pressure lower than the second pressure and the load of the pumping unit is automatically controlled based on the pattern according to a one-time input of an operation signal.
DENTAL WATER JET WITH STORAGE CONTAINER RESERVOIR COVER
A dental water jet is provided. The dental water jet may include a base unit, a reservoir supported by the base unit, a handle supported by the base unit, and a container covering an opening of the reservoir. The container may include a base supported by the reservoir and a lid movable relative to the base. The container may be configured to store one or more tips for use with the handle.
Dental Cutting Lubricant and Method of Use Thereof
The present invention provides a method for dental cutting including the steps of providing a dental unit water line irrigation system, the dental unit water line irrigation system including a container surrounding a solution chamber; providing a lubricant for use in the dental unit water line irrigation system, the lubricant defining a composition including 10 to 25% by weight of ethanol; 5 to 25% by weight of glycerol; 10 to 25% by weight of xylitol; 0.5 to 5% by weight of a nonionic surfactant and emulsifying agent; 0.15 to 0.5% by weight of a plurality of flavoring agents; and 45 to 60% by weight of water; and selectively operating the water line irrigation system to express the lubricant onto a dental cutting site.
Oral irrigator with variable pressure
An oral irrigator including a fluid reservoir, a pumping assembly, a pressure control assembly, and a nozzle. The pumping assembly comprises a power source, a motor in electrical communication with the power source, and a pump in fluid communication with the reservoir. The pressure control assembly is in fluid communication with the pump; mechanically varies a pressure of a fluid exiting the nozzle to change the outlet pressure of the oral irrigator a high pressure to a low pressure and vice versa.
LIGHT GUIDE FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE, SUCH AS ORAL IRRIGATOR
In one embodiment, a light guide includes an emitter and a light guide body optically coupled to the emitter. The light guide body may define a cylindrical body that tapers along an angled plane from a top end towards a bottom end. The bottom end may define a light entrance to the light guide body.
ORAL HYGIENE DEVICE
An oral hygiene device in the form of a toothbrush 10 comprises a handle section 12, a cartridge 14 containing a cleaning composition held under gas pressure, an actuating mechanism 16 and a head section 18. The cartridge has a discharge opening at a front end thereof, which includes a control valve 26 comprising a valve stem 27. The actuating mechanism 16 includes a plunger 40 and a lever formation 38 which acts on the plunger. The lever formation is acted upon by a hand-operated actuating button 58 for dispensing the plunger rearwardly for depressing the valve stem 27 for releasing cleaning composition from the cartridge causing the cleaning composition to be conveyed under gas pressure along passage 48 of the valve stem and into passages 46, 32, 37 and 29 where it is discharged via opening 31 at a distal end of the head section 18 onto bristles 28.
