Electric Toothbrush Device
An electric toothbrush device having bristle movement in three dimensions includes an elongate body comprising a neck extending between a handle and a head. A drive shaft engaged to a motor in the handle extends into the head. A plate is engaged to a transfer shaft, which extends perpendicularly from the drive shaft through a planar face of the head and which is operationally engaged to the drive shaft. The plate is external to the head and parallel to the planar face. Bristles are engaged to a second face of the plate. First and second protuberances are engaged to the planar face and the plate, respectively. Movement of the plate parallel to the planar face induced by the transfer shaft brings the second protuberance into contact with the first protuberance to induce repetitive movement of the plate and the bristles in a direction perpendicular to the planar face.
Oral care device
An oral care device comprises a head portion and a handle portion. The head portion comprises at least one supporting arm and a base. The supporting arm extends from the base. A sensor is exposed from the supporting arm. The handle portion is configured to move relative to the head portion. The handle portion comprises a processor, wherein the processor is configured to receive signals from the sensor and analyze the signals received from the sensor.
Arbitrary motion toothbrush
A method and apparatus permitting arbitrary, relative motions of a distal end of a toothbrush or flosser with respect to a handle with real-time selectable motions. The toothbrush has a handle and a post, with a mechanism mechanically coupling the handle to the post permitting relative translational movement of the post with respect to the handle.
Indexed drive system
An indexed drive system (10) for mechanised tools, in particular an electric toothbrush, for selectively imparting various drive modes to a pair of concentrically-arranged drive shafts (12, 14) thereby imparting various brushing modes to the head (H) of the mechanised tool, in particular an electric toothbrush.
Electric toothbrush and a brush head for the same
An electric toothbrush is disclosed herein. The electric toothbrush may include an elongated body portion with opposed first and second ends and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween; a brush head section arrangeable toward the first end and including: a first bristle support member rotatable in a first direction, and a second bristle support member coupled to the first bristle support member and rotatable in a second direction about a centrally defined axis, the second direction being opposite the first direction; and a drive rod coupled to at least the first bristle support member and having an axis oriented so as to extend coincident with, or substantially parallel to, the longitudinal axis of the electric toothbrush, the drive rod being arranged to linearly move along the axis so as to rotate the first bristle support member in the first direction and rotate the second bristle support member in the second direction.
Swing motor with two movable members having elastic support members and torsion elastic members
Disclosed by the present invention are a swing motor and an electronic device, the swing motor comprising a seat; at least two movable members, comprising a first movable member and a second movable member arranged to be spaced apart, wherein the first movable member and the second movable member bear opposite electromagnetic thrusts; elastic support members that correspond one-to-one to the movable members, comprising a first elastic support member and a second elastic support member, wherein the first movable member is mounted onto the seat by means of the first elastic support member, and the second movable member is mounted onto the seat by means of the second elastic support member; further comprised is a twisting elastic member, one end of the twisting elastic member being connected to the first movable member or the second movable member, and the other end being connected to an executing member.
FINGERTIP TOOTHBRUSH FOR PET
The present invention relates to a fingertip toothbrush for a pet, and more particularly, to a fingertip toothbrush for a pet that is configured to allow bristles to vibrate and reciprocally slide up and down, so that toothbrushing can be carefully and precisely achieved, which is effective in improving the teeth health of the pet.
Head structure of a brush appliance
A head structure of a brush appliance comprises a frame movably connected with a head driving shaft, driving bristle retainers connected with and driven by the head driving shaft, and driven bristle retainers which and the driving bristle retainers are alternatively arranged with each other. In the head structure, the driven bristle retainers are driven by the driving bristle retainers from the frame in a constrained mode and move around a respective motion axis. The driving bristle retainers have protrusions. The driven bristle retainers have bevel surfaces which correspondingly cooperate with the protrusions. At least one driven point on at least one of bevel surfaces is closer to the driving bristle retainers than a contact point or a contact line or a contact surface of the at least bevel surface and the corresponding protrusions. Thereby the driven bristle retainers are driven by the driving bristle retainers in the moving process.
ATTACHMENT WITH RESONANT STRUCTURE FOR PERSONAL CARE APPLIANCE METHOD
A personal care appliance (10), or power toothbrush, comprises a handle (16) including a drive train (20), a motor controller (18), and an attachment (12) that includes a resonant structure (14). The motor controller (18) controls an operation of the drive train (20) to produce at least one of a first mechanical stimulus and a second mechanical stimulus, the first mechanical stimulus comprising a first cleaning motion (42) having a first resonant frequency, the second mechanical stimulus comprising a second movement having a second resonant frequency. The resonant structure (14) implements the first cleaning motion (42) and an additional resonant motion (44,46,48,50,52,60) as well as the cleaning motion (42).
Toothbrush system
A toothbrush apparatus and system and associated method. The apparatus includes a sensing module that performs at least one of the following: detect at least one time period associated with use of the toothbrush apparatus, detect one or more movements of the toothbrush apparatus, and any combination thereof. The apparatus's one or more processors communicatively coupled to the sensing module determine one or more measurements based on at least one of: the detected time periods, the detected movements, and any combination thereof, and store the determined measurements in one or more memory locations communicatively coupled to the processors. The apparatus also includes one or more feedback modules that receive the stored measurements and encode the measurements into corresponding feedback signals. One or more data transfer modules transmit the feedback signals.
