ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
20180008388 · 2018-01-11 ·

The present disclosure relates to an electric toothbrush, and more particularly, to an electric toothbrush including: a main body which includes an outer case; a cleaning body which is coupled to the main body and has a cleaning head formed at one end thereof; a vibration transmission unit which couples the main body and the cleaning body, has a vibration generator mounted thereon to generate vibration, and transmits the vibration to the cleaning body; and a vibration damping unit which is provided between the outer case and the vibration transmission unit, thereby maintaining cleaning performance of the electric toothbrush, reducing magnitude of vibration to be transmitted to a user, and improving convenience for the user.

CLEANING APPLIANCE
20230024733 · 2023-01-26 · ·

A dental treatment appliance transmits a pulsed light signal towards the oral cavity and captures images of the oral cavity from light returned from the oral cavity. A controller actuates the treatment of the oral cavity of the user depending on the captured images.

DENTAL IMPLANT LOCATOR CLEANING ASSEMBLY
20220387155 · 2022-12-08 ·

A dental implant locator cleaning assembly includes a cleaning head that is attachable to a periodontal tool which employs oscillation and pressurized water for cleaning dental implants. The cleaning head has a plurality of tabs oriented to surround a dental implant locator for scrubbing an outer surface of the dental implant locator when the periodontal tool is turned on. The cleaning head has a fluid nozzle that is centrally positioned therein and is surrounded by the plurality of tabs. The fluid nozzle extends into a well in the dental implant locator and the fluid nozzle is in fluid communication with the periodontal tool when the cleaning head is attached to the periodontal tool. In this way the fluid nozzle can spray a fluid into the well in the dental implant locator for cleaning debris from the well in the dental implant locator.

ORAL CAVITY CLEANING DEVICE
20220361994 · 2022-11-17 ·

An oral cavity cleaning device, which comprises a body, a water jet tip, a first motor, a second motor, a brush, and a water suction assembly. A rotating shaft extends out of an upper end surface of the body. The first motor drives the rotating shaft to vibrate to drive the brush to vibrate. The upper end surface of the body further comprises a water outlet, and the water jet tip is disposed on the upper end surface of the body and is in communication with the water outlet. Further, the water jet tip is disposed on a side of the brush facing a user, and the water jet tip is disposed below bristles of the brush. The second motor drives the water suction assembly to pump water from a built-in or external container, and water from a water passage disposed in the body sprays out of the water outlet and the water jet tip.

PUMP ASSEMBLY
20230078152 · 2023-03-16 · ·

A pump assembly for a dental cleaning appliance includes a positive displacement pump including a fluid chamber and a fluid displacement member which is moveable in a linear direction relative to the fluid chamber, and a drive for actuating the pump to draw fluid into the fluid chamber through a fluid inlet. An energy storage device converts kinetic energy generated during actuation of the pump by the drive into potential energy, and stores the potential energy. A cam is connected to the drive for rotation relative to the fluid displacement member. The cam has a ramp extending about the fluid displacement member which is engaged by a cam follower connected to the fluid displacement member. As the cam moves relative to the fluid displacement member, the cam follower moves along the ramp to actuate the pump to draw fluid into the fluid chamber, and beyond the end of the ramp to enable the energy storage device to use the stored potential energy to actuate the pump to urge fluid from the fluid chamber.

Chassis of an oral cleansing device
11602422 · 2023-03-14 · ·

A chassis of an oral cleansing device is provided. The oral cleansing device may include a first chassis half including a first threaded portion, a second chassis half including a second threaded portion, and a nut threaded onto the first threaded portion and the second threaded portion to at least partially secure the first chassis half to the second chassis half. The threaded portions may be defined on respective ends of the first chassis half and the second chassis half. The nut may engage chamfered edges of the first chassis half and the second chassis half. Engagement of the nut with the first chamfered edge and the second chamfered edge may produce a radial compressive force on the chassis halves. The first chassis half and the second chassis half may at least partially define a chassis that is positioned within a handle of the oral cleansing device.
