20220387142 · 2022-12-08 · ·

An orthodontic anchor (10) to be attached to the surface (12) of a tooth (11). The anchor (10) includes a base (13) which is in the form of a plate having a surface (14) that is dually fixed to the surface (12). Base (13) is in the form of a duct portion (15) providing a through passage (16). The passage (16) receives a tube (19), through which an elongated orthodontic element, such as a wire (21) or a chain can pass.

MANUFACTURE OF PATIENT-SPECIFIC ORTHODONTIC TUBE

Embodiments relate to the methodology of direct manufacture of a customized labial/lingual orthodontic tube by using a ceramic slurry-based additive manufacturing (AM) technology. For example, a method of manufacturing customized ceramic labial/lingual orthodontic tubes by additive manufacturing may comprise measuring dentition data of a profile of teeth of a patient, based on the dentition data, creating a three-dimensional computer-assisted design (3D CAD) model of the patient's teeth, and saving the 3D CAD model, designing a virtual 3D CAD tube structure model for a single labial or lingual tube structure based upon said 3D CAD model, importing data related to the 3D CAD tube structure model into an additive manufacturing machine, and directly producing the tube with the additive manufacturing machine by layer manufacturing from an inorganic material including at least one of a ceramic, a polymer-derived ceramic, and a polymer-derived metal.

BUCCAL TUBE WITH HIDDEN TRACTION HOOK

A buccal tube includes a main body. The main body is provided with a traction hook which can move or rotate relative to the main body, and the main body is internally provided with an accommodation space. When the traction hook is not in use, the traction hook is disposed in the accommodation space. When the traction hook is in use, one end of the traction hook outwardly rotates or moves away from the accommodation space.

SELF-LIGATING BRACKET, DOUBLE-WING SPACING ADJUSTABLE BRACKET AND DENTAL APPLIANCE
20230078030 · 2023-03-16 ·

The present disclosure provides a self-ligating bracket, a double-wing spacing adjustable bracket and a dental appliance. The self-ligating bracket includes: a bracket base plate; a first end of a first elastic support is connected to the bracket base plate; a bracket body is a hollow structure, a second end of the first elastic support is connected to a distal end of the bracket body, and the distal end of the bracket body is provided with a gap and the distal end of the bracket body is expanded radially by the second end of the first elastic support; and a position-limited member is movable in an axial direction of the bracket body, and the position-limited member is sleeved on an outside of the bracket body for overcoming expansive force provided by the elastic supports and making the bracket body contract along a radial direction.

EXTENDED BUCCAL TUBE
20230114543 · 2023-04-13 · ·

This disclosure generally describes an extended buccal tube which is used in connection with braces for the teeth. The extended buccal tube accommodates an arch wire of a sufficient length to allow space to be created between one or more teeth while retaining the arch wire within a tube of the extended buccal tube. As space is created and the arch wire slides through the extended buccal tube, an overall length of the arch wire may be monitored through one or more windows in the extended buccal tube. Tooth pads on extended buccal tube may be rotatable by up to 20° in two axes for fitment purposes. When space has been created between the one or more teeth, extended buccal tube may be cut along scoring lines to separate teeth that were bonded together by the extended buccal tube.

ORTHODONTIC HYBRID BRACKET

In an embodiment, the present disclosure relates to a segmental distalization device that includes an elongate bar having a distal end and a mesial end, a distal base on the distal end of the elongate bar, a mesial base on the mesial end of the elongate bar, and an attachment member attached to at least one of the elongate bar, the distal base, and the mesial base. In some embodiments, the attachment member is operable to connect the segmental distalization device to an anchor via an elastic connector.

SELF-LIGATING CROSSED BUCCAL TUBES
20230181290 · 2023-06-15 ·

Disclosed is a self-ligating crossed buccal tube comprising a bracket body frame structure and a cover plate detachably installed on the bracket body frame structure, which includes four wings, and a first tube cavity for accommodating an archwire is formed by the four wings. Limiting structures are arranged below the first and fourth wings and on a side wall of a first groove. The first tube cavity used for accommodating a thick round wire or square archwire is formed through the four wings. The three limiting structures form two limiting channels used for accommodating a thin round wire. The limiting structures are used for providing a backward tilting moment for teeth, and the problem that the archwire cannot be inserted into the buccal tube after the distal end of the archwire is bent is solved by the sliding cover plate design.

ORTHODONTIC APPLIANCE
20170333162 · 2017-11-23 ·

The invention relates to an orthodontic device which is particularly economical and as small as possible, and which has hooks and a small tube, produced from a sheet metal plate using stamping and bending techniques and without the use of welding or soldering. The orthodontic device comprises a base plate having a flat region with a gingival and an occlusal edge. An occlusal rolling forms the small tube. The gingival edge has a counter-directional rolling. Concave cuts are formed in the side edges in order to form wing-shaped hooks. Both rollings can hold an applicator/protector, with which the orthodontic device is protected during adhesion, and can then be applied to a tooth in the correct orientation.
