Dental assemblies for a mouth of a patient are provided. Contemplated dental assemblies can comprise an implant having an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the upper portion comprises a threaded portion configured to screw into a threaded recess of an abutment, and wherein the lower portion comprises an angled platform and a threaded post extending from the platform, the threaded post configured for threaded engagement with bone or tissue in the mouth of the patient. In some aspects, the angled platform can be angled, for example, about 15 degrees, about 20 degrees, about 30 degrees, between 10-35 degrees, or between 15-30 degrees relative to a line that is orthogonal to a length of the implant.
FIXED HYBRID DENTAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE
A dental assembly is provided, which includes an endosseous dental implant, a retention member, and a cap configured for securing in a dental appliance and engaging the retention member. The endosseous dental implant may have an external projection extending from the top of the first end portion for releasable engagement with an abutment member, wherein the abutment member has an external lower bevel portion. The retention member may have a first end and a continuous, unbroken skirt extending from the first end defining an inner surface for engagement over the outer locating surface of the abutment member, the retention member being constructed from a rigid material such that it provides a retentive force of about 10 to 75 pounds. The rigid material may include PEEK.
Dental implant having reverse-tapered main body for anterior post-extraction sockets
A dental implant includes a body and a threaded surface. The body has an upper portion, a middle portion, and a lower portion. The upper portion of the body includes a generally cylindrical region. The lower portion of the body includes a generally inwardly tapered region. The middle portion of the body includes an outwardly extending bulge. A maximum outer diameter of the bulge is greater than (i) a maximum outer diameter of the upper portion and (ii) a maximum outer diameter of the lower portion. The threaded surface is on the body within at least the upper portion of the body, the bulge, and the lower portion of the body.
LOCKING TAPER ABUTMENT WITH ANGLE
A locking taper abutment with angle comprises a first part, a second part and a third part. The first part is configured to be engaged in an opening of a dental implant. The second part is connected above the first part, the second part comprises a lower region, a middle region, and an upper region, the lower region is positioned in alveolar bone, the upper region is positioned in gingiva, an expansion region is arranged on an outer periphery of the upper region, and the middle region or the lower region of the second part is provided with a bend; therefore, the problem that keratinized gingiva on a certain side is insufficient can be effectively solved. The third part is connected with the upper region of the second part for connection to a prosthesis, the third part being provided with at least one facet.
Two-part modelling aid
A two part modelling aid for connection to a dental implant component including a hollow base part and a hollow angled part, each including a tubular side wall extending between apical and coronal ends. The base part side wall includes an anti-rotation section including a non-circular symmetric cross-section in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the base part. The angled part side wall forms an apical portion that extends along a first axis and is sized and shaped to form a friction fit with the base part, and a coronal portion extending along a second axis non-coaxial to the first axis. When connected, a closed channel is formed extending from the base part to the angled part, and the first axis of the apical portion is coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the base part and the anti-rotation section is exposed on a base part surface.
Screw retained abutment with off-axis feature and methods of making and using same
An abutment is provided with a screw access hole and a slot in its sidewall adapted to allow a driver to access a screw in the screw access hole at an angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the screw. The abutment may include a screw seat and may be connected to an implant via a screw in the screw seat. A prosthesis, which may include a driver access channel that has a diameter less than the outer diameter of the drive portion of the screw, may be placed over the abutment. Methods of making a dental prosthesis and methods of attaching and removing the dental prosthesis from the implant are also disclosed.
Abutment, in particular for use with a dental implant inserted into the jaw bone of a patient, and method for producing the abutment
An abutment for use with a dental implant. The abutment includes a connecting pin configured to be introduced into an associated receiving channel of the dental implant. The connecting pin includes a screw channel for a connecting screw for connecting the abutment to the dental implant. An inner diameter of the screw channel over its entire length up to an opening on an end face is at least as large as the diameter of a screw head of the connecting screw, and a plastically deformed retaining element is provided in order to support the connecting screw.
IMPLANT, ABUTMENT AND IMPLANT SYSTEM
A dental implant for an implant system includes an internal implant-sided arrangement area, wherein the implant-sided arrangement area is configured to contact an abutment at least in sections, wherein the implant-sided arrangement area has an implant-sided conical section, wherein the implant-sided conical section comprises implant-sided anti-rotation structures, wherein the implant extends in a longitudinal direction, and wherein the implant-sided anti-rotation structures are configured such that they positively prevent or can prevent a rotation of the abutment about the longitudinal direction relative to the implant.
Narrow Diameter Dental Implant with Multi-Unit Abutment
A narrow diameter dental implant with multi-unit abutment is surgically inserted for osseointegration into the jawbone of a patient, in order to attach a crown or tooth prosthetic. The dental implant includes an implant shaft, a threading extrusion, and an attachment abutment. The implant shaft is inserted within the jawbone during osseointegration surgery. The threading extrusion is connected along the implant shaft in order to secure the dental implant within the jawbone. The attachment abutment is connected to the implant shaft, such that the attachment abutment extrudes out from the patient's gum. Therefore, the attachment abutment is accessible for the dentist to attach a crown or tooth prosthetic.
