Dental Cartridge And Method For Producing A Dental Cartridge
A dental cartridge, in particular for insertion into an injector, is configured with a cylinder body with a gripping shoulder at a first end face and with a cylinder chamber into which dental material can be filled, with a dispensing nozzle which is arranged on a second end face of the cylinder body opposite the gripping shoulder, wherein the cylinder body and the dispensing nozzle are connected via a joint. The joint is formed with a joint head in the form of a ball as part of the dispensing nozzle and with a complementary joint socket as part of the cylinder body at the second end face. The dispensing nozzle is swiveled in relation to the cylinder body in a swivel range about three axes x-y-z.
BITE FORK DEVICE WITH IMPRESSION MATERIAL PUMPING PROVISION
A bite fork or bite tray device with channels to facilitate flow of impression material through the substrate while held inside a patient's oral cavity to obtain bite registration or impression consisting of full or partial teeth impression or full or partial gum impression or alveolar bone or alveolar process or alveolar ridge or a combination of these. A process for use of the system for prescription or design or manufacture of an appliance by providing the necessary steps.
Dispensing control system, method of controlling a dispensing device and computer program
A dispensing control system includes a dispensing device and a remote device. The dispensing device includes a dispenser configured to dispense material from a cartridge disposed in the dispensing device, a first receiver configured to receive information related to the cartridge, a transmitter configured to transmit the information related to the cartridge, and an electronic controller configured to cause the transmitter of the dispensing device to transmit the information related to the cartridge. The remote device includes an electronic controller, a receiver and a transmitter, the receiver of the remote device is configured to receive the information related to the cartridge, the controller of the remote device is configured to monitor the information related to the cartridge and to cause the transmitter of the remote device to transmit the information related to the cartridge to a remote server.
DENTAL ALIGNMENT DEVICE AND METHOD
A dental impression kit and method is provided. The kit includes a single-use container filled with a polyvinyl siloxane (PVS) base, a single-use container filled with a PVS catalyst, a dispenser filled with a light body PVS, an impression tray having a curved channel sized and shaped to surround one of an upper or lower dental arch and an instruction packet. The method includes opening the single-use containers, and mixing the PVS base and PVS catalyst to form a PVS mixture. The method includes pressing the PVS mixture into the impression tray, pressing the impression tray onto one of an upper or lower dental arch to form a first dental impression. The method includes opening the single use dispenser, ejecting the light body PVS over the first dental impression, and reseating the impression tray to form a second dental impression.
Piston and cartridge arrangement having said piston
The invention relates to a piston, in particular, for use as a discharge and/or locking piston of a cartridge comprising a base body (25) having a lateral wall provided with sealants (14, 17) and a front-end wall having a vent (21). A locking element (18) is mounted rotatable in the vent (21), whereby a venting channel (23, 24) can be opened or closed by the relative rotation of the locking element (18) in the vent (21). Additionally, the invention relates to a cartridge configuration having such a piston.
Plunger for a syringe and method of making such a plunger
A plunger for advancing a substance in a syringe toward a dispensing nozzle. The plunger has a plunger rod and a seal and being formed of a plastic composition. The plastic composition includes a polymer and a filler which is non-uniformly distributed within the polymer to provide the plunger rod and the seal with different mechanical properties depending on the filler content in the portions of the plastic composition plunger forming the rod and the seal. The invention preferably provides a dental syringe which can be conveniently used, and further helps minimizing costs in the manufacturing of the dental syringe.
System and device for dispensing a dental material and a cartridge for use with the system or device
A system for dispensing a dental material comprises a cartridge from which the dental material is extrudable. The cartridge comprises a operating means and an interface for transmitting a cartridge output based on a user input. The system further has a dental dispensing device having a receptacle for receiving the cartridge and an interface for receiving the cartridge output. The system helps maximizing reliability and maximizing safety in operation for dispensing dental material.
Mixing and dispensing container
A container 10 for mixing and dispensing of material having a liquid receptacle 14 and a plunger 18. The receptacle 14 has a front portion 36 and the plunger 18 has a forwardly projecting sharp protrusion 42 having a shaft 72 which terminates in a sharp outer end 78, 82. Upon the plunger 18 being depressed the sharp protrusion 42 pierces a front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 and the liquid in the receptacle 14 is pushed hydraulically through the front portion 36 into a main chamber 17. Thus the liquid contacts material in the main chamber 17 to form a mixture. The plunger 18 can continue to be depressed so as to break the front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 away and then push the material in the main chamber 17 towards a dispensing nozzle 26. The main chamber 17 has a frangible membrane 22 at a distal end 13 thereof which is hydraulically broken by pressure applied from the material in the main chamber 17 so that the material can be dispensed from the container 10. The container 10 is particularly envisaged for use with mixing and dispensing of dental materials.
DISPENSING OUTLET, DISPENSING SYSTEM, METHOD OF USING A DISPENSING SYSTEM, INJECTION MOLD AND METHOD OF PRODUCING A DISPENSING OUTLET
A dispensing outlet includes a housing with a first end of the housing having a first outlet and a second end of the housing having a mixing or reception space. The mixing or reception space is configured to receive a further component, and a pre-determined breaking point is formed between the first outlet and the mixing or reception space.
DISPENSING DEVICE FOR A DENTAL MATERIAL AND A METHOD OF FILLING THE DEVICE
A dispensing device for a dental material, comprises a container that has a passageway with a front opening for releasing the dental material, and a rear opening. The device has a first fill opening in the passageway arranged between the rear opening and the front opening. The device further has a second fill opening. The device is adapted to receive a piston in the passageway which is movable between the rear opening and the front opening.
