An external ear canal pressure regulation device including a fluid flow generator and an earpiece having a first axial earpiece conduit fluidicly coupled to the fluid flow generator, whereby the earpiece has a compliant earpiece external surface configured to sealably engage an external ear canal as a barrier between an external ear canal pressure and an ambient pressure.

A lanyard is provided. The lanyard may include a lanyard cord which is attached to a personal item such as safety glasses or an access card, an earplug cord which is attached to a first earplug and a second earplug, and a flexible retractable sheath. The first and second earmuffs are configured to provide level dependent hearing protection. The first earmuff includes a microphone element (204, 330) having a microphone entry (264), positioned on an exterior of a housing of the first earmuff (260), the microphone element (204, 330) being configured to receive an ambient sound. The first earmuff also includes a processor configured to process the ambient sound using a level dependent function. The first earmuff also includes a speaker configured to broadcast the processed ambient sound in an interior of the first earmuff. The first earmuff also includes an asymmetrical windscreen (262) configured to enclose the microphone element. The windscreen is coupled to the housing of the first earmuff.

A hearing protection device is presented. The hearing protection device includes a first and second earmuffs (202, 260, 310) connected by a connector (270, 320). The first and second earmuffs are configured to provide level dependent hearing protection. The first earmuff includes a microphone element (204, 330) having a microphone entry (264), positioned on an exterior of a housing of the first earmuff (260), the microphone element (204, 330) being configured to receive an ambient sound. The first earmuff also includes a processor configured to process the ambient sound using a level dependent function. The first earmuff also includes a speaker configured to broadcast the processed ambient sound in an interior of the first earmuff. The first earmuff also includes an asymmetrical windscreen (262) configured to enclose the microphone element. The windscreen is coupled to the housing of the first earmuff.

A hardware mounting system for eyewear including a mounting bracket that is secured to a temple of eyewear by wrapping a stretchable retention band around the temple and aligning two openings in the retention band around a protrusion in the mounting bracket. Either or both of a mounting arm and a spherical rod end can be secured to the mounting bracket. The mounting arm can allow an ear device such as hearing protection to be secured to the eyewear. The spherical rod end allows a device having a socket such as certain illumination devices to be secured to the eyewear.

The present invention relates to an ear protection device, which comprises an ear cushion for contacting around an ear to seal off an interior space of the ear protection device from surroundings, a switch comprising a holder portion and a shaft with a guide, a shell comprising an interior section and a shell aperture wherein edges of the shell aperture engage with the guide of the switch, and said shell is provided between the ear cushion and the switch. The switch is rotatable between a first position and a second position, wherein in the first position ventilation holes are exposed from the interior section of the shell allowing air to flow inside the interior space, and in the second position the ventilation holes are covered inside the interior section of shell preventing the air to flow inside the interior space.

An earpiece including an intra-auricular support, a projection element coupled thereto, and a flexible body disposed thereon and inside an external ear canal of an ear, and a moldable earpiece material moldable about the intra-auricular support to conform to the auricle of an ear and curable to provide a fixed configuration of the earpiece.
