ABSORBENT ARTICLES INCLUDING A WAIST PANEL WITH A FRANGIBLE BOND
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to absorbent articles with waist panels including frangible bonds, wherein a waist panel may be connected with a chassis and positioned in a front or back waist region. A first region of the waist panel is bonded with the chassis and extends laterally adjacent an outboard lateral edge of the waist panel, and at least a portion of an inboard lateral edge of the waist panel is unattached to the chassis so as to form a pocket during use. The waist panel is also releasably bonded with the chassis with a frangible bond positioned on the inboard lateral edge of the waist panel and/or longitudinally between the inboard lateral edge of the waist panel and the first region. The frangible bond may be an adhesive and/or mechanical bond and may be configured to break during production or during normal use of the absorbent article.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article, such as, a garment-like absorbent article, can have a front region, a back region, and a crotch region extending between and interconnecting the front region and the back region. Each of the front region and the back region can have an elastic material. The absorbent article can have an absorbent core wherein a portion of the absorbent core can be located in the crotch region, a portion of the absorbent core can be located in a portion of the front region, and a portion of the absorbent core can be located in a portion of the back region. Within each of the front region and the back region, an overlapping region can exist where the absorbent core is in an overlapping configuration with the elastic material within the front region and the back region.
ABSORBENT SANITARY ARTICLE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
An absorbent sanitary article including a chassis and at least one gasketing element including two non-elastic outer layers and a transversally stretchable elastic film, wherein the transversally stretchable elastic film is shorter than the two non-elastic outer layers both in longitudinal and transverse directions, so that the gasketing element has two non-elastic longitudinal portions and two non-elastic transverse portions forming a non-elastic frame surrounding the transversally stretchable elastic film.
AN ABSORBENT SANITARY ARTICLE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
An absorbent sanitary article including a chassis and at least one transverse elastic element including in a unitary component an elastic gasketing portion extending between two side edges of the chassis and two elastic side panels extending transversally outwardly beyond respective side edges of the chassis.
LEAKPROOF PERIOD PANTIES FOR WEAR AT HOME AND DURING SLEEP
Leakproof period panties for wear at home and during sleep include an outer layer. A leakproof structural layer is sewn on the inner side of the outer layer at the position of the crotch. The leakproof structural layer includes a lining layer. The top edge of the lining layer is sewn into the outer layer. A leakproof layer is sewn on the outer surface of the lining layer. An absorption layer is sewn on the bottom of the leakproof layer at the position of the crotch. The outer layer and the leakproof structural layer of the panties are combined to mimic a fake two-piece style. With the leakproof structural layer including a combination of a comfortable lining layer, an absorption layer for absorbing menstrual flow, and a leakproof layer for preventing seepage and lateral leakage, the period panties can serve as homewear or outerwear, while having an aesthetically attractive appearance.
DIAPER ACCESSORIES AND RELATED METHODS
Diaper assemblies, along with related articles and methods, are provided. The diaper assembly includes a diaper comprising an inner surface and a blocking member coupled to a portion of the inner surface. The blocking member has a resilient pad coextends along a portion of the inner surface and further includes an attachment layer bonded to the resilient pad and may be repositionably attached at other locations along the inner surface. Advantageously, the blocking member can provide a releasable and repositionable seal that conveniently enhances the functionality of commercially available diapers.
Disposable absorbent article with side lying leakage improvement
An absorbent article having improved leakage protection when the wearer of the absorbent article is lying on their side. The absorbent article has a surge layer in liquid communication with a portion of the garment facing region and a portion of a side edge of the absorbent core.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING AN ABSORBENT CORE CONFIGURED TO DEFINE A CONTAINMENT ZONE
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles having an absorbent core that can comprise a laminate longitudinally folded such that the absorbent core includes a lower laminate layer and, within each of first and second longitudinally-extending edge regions, one or more folded laminate layers. A center region of the lower layer can be bonded to a chassis and can span a lateral distance smaller than the width of the absorbent core such that at least a portion of the absorbent core in each of the edge regions is configured to lift away from the chassis. The present absorbent cores can thus define a containment zone to reduce liquid and/or feces leakage.
Absorbent article with absorbent strips
An absorbent article, a portion of which is configured to absorb fluids, has a chassis with a length greater than its width. The chassis length extends in a longitudinal direction from the back to the front of a user between first and second longitudinal edges and the width extends in a lateral direction substantially perpendicular to the length and between first and second lateral edges. Absorbent strips with a length greater than their width are arranged at outer edges of the chassis for added absorbency of the article.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES HAVING ABSORBENT LEG CUFFS
This disclosure includes absorbent articles comprising first and second absorbent cuffs to prevent leaks. The present articles can comprise a chassis having opposing front and rear portions and a crotch portion extending longitudinally between the front and rear portions. An absorbent core can extend longitudinally along the crotch portion, and the first and second absorbent cuffs can extend longitudinally along the crotch portion as well. The absorbent cuffs can be positioned such that at least a portion of the absorbent core is positioned between the absorbent cuffs, and each can comprise a liftable portion and one or more elastics configured to urge the liftable portion away from the chassis and toward a wearer when the absorbent article is worn. Absorbent or hydrophobic end caps can extend across the ends of the absorbent cuffs.
